"Shove off blondie," she spat.
OOC: Riley has very, very red hair. Thank you very much. :\
IC: Riley took a step back, absolutely shocked at her misfortune. "I'm so sorry," she stammered, trying to make the situation a bit better. She knew this night was going to be more than awful. "It's my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going. I'm so so sorry," she whined, feeling tears welling in her eyes. She hated her overactive emotions. She felt her face turn a very dark shade of red, and she hung her head in shame.
Riley stood in embarrassed silence, watching the seen happen between the two girls. She had no idea what was going on and didn't really care, until she heard one of the girls say, "Why Eric?" she said glaring at her, "Aren't there plenty of guys that you could sleep with? How does it feel Julia, to know that guys don't really care about you, they just use you and throw you out with the garbage, I can tell you how I feel," she said on the verge of tears. Riley's mouth dropped. "Eric?!? What about Eric??" She didn't even realize the words were coming out of her mouth. She felt faint.
"Sorry, about that, she is a bit of a loose cannon," she said apologetically to the gryffindor stepped out of the doorway into the entrance hall to allow her to enter.
"I'm not going in there," Riley rufesed. She couldn't. She was unwilling to face whatever had just happened. She couldn't handle it. Everything was far too much.

Mike pulled Eric away from Watson and Audrey, he steered Eric through a crowd on the dance floor, right in to the Entrance Hall, finally he turned facing Eric, pushing him slightly hard, in to the wall behind him. He had a lot things in mind to say, when he saw Eric's almost relieved, thankful look, he almost thought he wouldn't go on with what he was saying, but he didn't care. "First off, what the hell were you thinking, being involved with those three?" Mike said, "And more importantly, why Julia?" he added, shaking his head. "Look, I'm not saying being friends, or even having more of a relationship with a few girls is bad, but obviously, when you get them all together, you're screwed." Mike looked up, seeing Julia, well obviously she wasn't effected by this, "Just... don't play Julia like that, ok?" Mike said looking at Eric. "As for that other girl, who ran off, I want you to go talk to her and set things straight." Mike said, giving Eric a demanding look. Mike didn't much of what else to say, He turned from Eric, walking back in to the hall.

Hunter nodded and smiled back at Professor McKlennon. That woman had a stupenous set of breasts. Not that he would ever do anything with her. Professors were not in his game. The boy was still thinking about Audra McKlennon's breasts when he heard another voice, apparently aimed at him.
She walked over to him, putting on her sexiest smile. "You are going to dance with me," she said.
Before he could even fully process her words, his arm was encircled by one of her hands and he was being marched onto the Great Hall floor. At least the band is good, he thought before setting his mind on the situation at hand. Julia looked good. Hunter smiled as he grabbed the girl by her waist and pulled her close. "You, my dear, look stunning this evening."
As they continued to dance, Hunter allowed himself to let his gaze wander about the room. He spotted Audrey and Mike. He saw Moki. He saw Professors McKlennon and Decessum. He didn't know many other faces in the room, but then again, he was only looking for one: Cady
Hunter sighed heavily as he completed his survey of the ballroom and couldn't find her. Quickly, he spun Julia out and back in just as the song was ending. In perfect co-ordination with the last drum beat of the song, Hunter leaned in and kissed Julia, quickly, on the lips. "How've you been?" he asked, winking.

Okay, its was an hour before the ball started and Brook wasn't even half ready. Why didn't she start all this before, she never though of these things. She still had a lot to do before she went, like take a shower, get dressed add make-up and whatever else. Well tbvh, she doesn't think she'll be in time for it. She sat up right on her bed when she tryed to choose the right stuff to wear, and whatever else there was to be added, y'know. But because it was brook it would take so much longer. Well she can never make her mind up about anything. I guess it was just her though. She wasn't too sure on what to wear. For a girl it was pretty hard for them to choose (i don't really know this but ooh well xD) She sat on her bed and looked up stright forward. Okay it was getting too hard for her. Then she spotted something really nice that her mom got her. She stood up and walked over to it and pulled it out and fixed it. She looked it over. She looked at it a few times. Why couldn't she remember gettin' this? when did she get this? or was she just seeing things, or thinkin' thing's, okay, now Brook was now tripping over something and she was getting really confussed over nothing. She walked over to the bed and sat it down and walked away to the bath room, she went in for a shower and all that including brushing her teeth and using mouth wash. As she walked back out she looked at her hair, its was curly straight? it was the way she liked it but she wasn't in the right mood for it right now, or maybe, she could keep it like this? Well she got dressed into THIS. She went over and fixed out her make-up and fixed her ahir until she liked it. By the time she had done all that she was like five minutes or so late, but loads of people would be like two seconds late (=P) she put on her shoes and walked out her room, It was true, She didn't have a date or anything like that because nobody had asked her yet, well it would of help if she went out and walked about or a bit, but no she had to sit inside and study, but studying was good although she missed the classes because she had somethings to deal with back in the Muggle World. It was true, Brook's gran Betty had died and Brook's mother and father wanted her to spend sometime in the other world with them, but the other reason why she had to go was because her gran was a Muggle and she wans't aloud to come to the wizarding worl, was it not agenst the law or something? well tbh Brook wasn't too sure but she would find out someday. OKAY BACK TO THIS TIME >_> Although it says that above ^ she would think about her past more. It was just her. She always though about her passed as if it was a day comnig up, okay that sounds weird but ooh well. Live with it. Brook has too, hahahaha. But because Brook always dreamed about the passed, it was if she was back there re-living the good moments. but she did think about all the bad moments in time, though everyone one did, didn't they ? as she walked down the stair case leading her to the Ravenclaw common room and away from the girls dorm. She though about the passed more, and more, but really she should be thinking about the yule ball. What will she do because no one asked her to go unless someone goes up to her and asks her to dance or something. But that might be un-likly because most people that would have someone, and all that, y'know. As she reached the bottom she stopped thinking about the passed and more on where she was going and would it be good ? and all the stuff like that, but doesn't everyone think about all that? or was it just her being herself as per normal. She left the common room and walked down through places, as she got to the ball she took a deeeeeeeep breath in and walked in, she heard the music and it wa sloud, well duhhh >_> she walked right in and found herself a seat over looking the dance floor, where loads of people where dancing or talking.

Audrey smiled at the younger girl as she made her exclaimation. "Shocking isn't it? But yes, Eric and Mike are cousins." She stood there in the slightly awkward graces of Watson as the two boys took their time talking. When Mike finally made it back over, Audrey turned to Watson, saying, "It was nice meeting you dear. Take care of yourself, eh?" The last thing she wanted was to see Watson in the halls crying over a guy like Eric. That would be too much.
When the awkward goodbyes were made, Audrey pulled Mike out on to the dance floor for a faster dance. As they were dancing, Audrey looked up and saw Julia pulling Hunter on to the floor. She shook her head and turned so that Mike could see what she was talking about. "Looks like Julia's caught another one." Whatever. Julia and Hunter were perfect for each other. She was a bit frisky and Hunter was just down right slutty....most of the time.
"So what did you tell Eric?" Audrey asked Mike. She was fairly sure that he would tell her. There wasn't much point for him not to, right?

Mike looked over to where Julia and Hunter were, he smirked. "Better him than Eric anyway." Mike replied. The sight of Julia and Hunter still made Mike feel odd. He knew he had a few feelings for her still somewhere, but he had to forget about it, he had Audrey, and he'd be with Audrey for the rest of his life. Julia was only a friend, still when he found out that she had had some relationship with Eric made him feel odd. Shaking these thoughts out of his head, he focused on Audrey and dancing.
"So what did you tell Eric?" Mike looked over at the Entrance Hall. "I just said how it was his mistake of making strong relationships with three girls at once, like he did with Julia, those two Slytherin girls. Told him to go talk to that one girl that ran out, because it looked like she took it pretty hard." His eyes strayed away from Eric, back to Audrey. This whole thing with Eric almost made him forget that he hated the faster dancing, but for Audey's sake, he'd put up with the last minutes of the song before going to sit down or something.

Julia smiled as he took her by the waist and pulled her closer to him. He was such a charmer. "Well thank you, you don't look to bad yourself," she said grinning up at him since he was much taller than her, even in heels. He looked quite dapper in his tuxedo, looked much better then Eric in his jeans and the other guys in their dorky dress robes. She noticed him looking around, she took that time to sneak a peek at Mike and Audrey. What was so special about him? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
She was suddenly brought back to reality when Hunter spinned her. She laughed, slightly surprised she hadn't tripped or something. She defiantly had two left feet. But she was even more surprised when her leaned in and kissed her. and the way he did it, so smooth and suave. She felt like she was in Taylor Swift music video. She tried not to let her surprise show on her face, she had to play it cool. "Well I am doing better now," she said smiling and raising one eyebrow.

As Mike took Eric to the Entrance Hall, Eric had never been more relieved that Mike was there. As Mike pushed him in to the wall, Eric was a little shocked by this sudden action, still he was grateful for Mike. Eric who knew he should've answered Mike's questions, just shook his head, not wishing to answer questions. He was going to listen to Mike, he needed advice. Mike's main advice was to apologize to Richelle and Eric agreed. He didn't want Richelle to think that he still didn't care for her. As Mike left, Eric watched him, and saw that Watson still stood by Audrey. I'll catch up with her soon, he promised himself.
When Richelle had stormed out, she had gone downstairs, to the Common Room, no doubt. That's where Eric headed. Descending the stairs, he made his way down to the Dungeons. Before he knew it, he was outside the Slytherin Common Room, muttering the password and rushing in, he looked around for Richelle, the dorm room was his first thought. Sprinting to the stairs of the girl's dorms, he started up. The whole guys not allowed in girl dorms thing didn't pass his mind because he was thinking about Richelle now, so moments later, halfway up the stairs, the stairs melted in to a slide, slamming to the surface of the stairs, he slid down. Getting to his feet, he looked up to the first set of doors. "Richelle I need to talk to you, now." he called up.

Richelle had thrown her shoes off as soon as she walked in her dorm. What a night? She had succeeded in totally embarrassing herself and assaulting her cousin, the latter of which she wasn't worried about. Julia was a wimp, she wouldn't tell a soul because she was terrified of Richelle. She began to undress, pulling her shirt and skirt off quickly throwing both in her wardrobe. She let her hair out and let it fall on her shoulders. What a waste of a good outfit. What a waste of a night. She wished she hadn't gone to the ball in the first place.
She was about to slip into her pj's and go to bed when she heard a voice calling her name. God dammit, could Julia have gotten in here? No, she wasn't that smart. She slipped her robe on not tying it, she really didn't give a damn what anyone saw, she didn't care about anything tonight. She took her time walking to the landing. She was in no hurry to speak to anyone. She finally made it to the railing, she looked down to see who was there. Shit. "What the hell do you want?" she spat at him. He was really dumb coming down here, "Now you want to be all chatty, won't your little girlfriend be missing you." He was a complete tease. Stupid man-whore.

Eric was a little taken back from her appearance, wearing nothing but a robe, but he knew he wasn't exactly in a good spot to really mention anything, or even look for that matter. Looking straight up to her face, attempting to stare in to her eyes, but of course, she was too far away for him to do it properly. "Listen, Richelle..." he almost said Richie, but he knew she'd probably curse him out for using her nickname in a time like this, "Hear me out before you anything." he added, sighing deeply, "I'm sorry about what happened tonight. I admit, it's all my fault and it should've never happened the way it did. There's nothing else I really know to say to you, the only thing is, don't think I don't care about you. I really do." Eric said, running a hand through his hair, pushing some of it out of his face. Eric truly liked all these girls, Watson, Richelle, and Julia, well Julia didn't seem to like him so much now... He still had feelings for Watson and Richelle, he didn't know just know who he really liked more, but as of now, he liked them both equally. "Honestly, I'd like nothing more than for you to give me a second chance, as a friend." Eric said. After all of this, he didn't exactly feel like committing to a serious, more than friends, relationship. Friendship was a start for now, anyhow. "If not, that's fine..." he said, cutting off of his sentence, he turned, walking to one of the couches, falling back on to it, face in his hands, he rubbed his face. What the hell did he get himself in to tonight?

She was still furious with him, but she couldn't stay angry, that would mean he wins, and she was not willing to let that happen. "Fine, I'll listen," she said tying her robe, not really wanting to give him a free show. She started down the stairs, it was awkward talking to him when he was below her. She crossed her arms over her chest and glared at him as he apologized, she hated apologies they were so awkward and emotional. Ick. "Well I don't care about you, other then like a friend, I just don't like being toyed with," she lied, she did not want to ruin her friendship with him, mostly because she had no other friends. "Look, I know your type, you will be breaking that little girls heart within a couple of months, or possibly sooner since you are here and not there," she said raising an eyebrow in a questioning manner. It was quite peculiar that he had ditched her at the dance, Maybe he really did like her.
Richie pretendedto think over his proposal for a few minutes before saying, "Okay, you can have a second chance, but no holding hands or flirting or being charming, You are with Watss-her-face, and I refuse to be the other woman," she stated. She crossed the room to join him on the couch. "Look don't beat yourself up, I am fine, Although, the whole you and Julia thing kinda creeps me out," she said with a smile. She felt kinda bad, she had ruined his night. But that Watson girl seemed like quite the controlling bitch so he would probably be miserable anyway.

When she said that friendship was the only thing she wanted right now, he pulled his hands from his face, nodding. "I wouldn't see it any other way," he said smirking. Yeah, see it any other way, for now. He sat back on the couch, looking at her, "I am truly... very sorry, Richie." he said, now daring to use her nickname. "And sorry about the whole Julia and me thing, in my defense, I didn't realize she was your cousin." he said, which was half true. He knew Richie had a cousin in Ravenclaw, he didn't know her name, but they did look a little alike. Now Richelle wasn't mad at him, which was his main priority, now he had some other crap to fix. "I was going to ask if you'd wanna come back upstairs, but I see, you're ready for bed." he said, letting his eyes slide for the robe, for the first time tonight, "I have some other things to fix before the night is over, I'll catch up with you later?"

Since George had first came into the ball there was quite a lot of things going on. A big group of students seemed to be arguing over who belonged to who. George had only caught part of the whole thing because there were quite a few people involved that it was hard to keep track of. George was sure that even those people involved were struggling to keep track of what was going on. Also George’s full attention wasn’t on the group so he had probably missed quite a bit of information. This school, it seemed was built on drama and drama tended to follow certain students around wherever they went. George always tried his best to not get involved but sometimes it was something you just couldn’t help. This time however he had managed to stay out of it and seemed to be one of the few students that weren’t all gathered around.
Some of George’s friends were involved in the altercation. He had thought about going up to them and asking what was going on but decided it was best for him to stay back. He had after all been glad that he wasn’t a part of it and that way he would just be throwing himself into it. There was drama everywhere but everything always seemed to come to a head at the Yule Ball. Seeming blissfully unaware George made his way back to the refreshments table and poured himself another small drink. He wasn’t particularly thirsty but it helped to pass the time. Half the balls participants were taking part in the altercation so George was one of a minimal group of people. Walking back to his original standing spot George swigged at his drink while tapping his foot to the music.
Looking around the room George managed to see a few people but like he had expected he certainly was one of a few. At least there had been a little bit of dancing and socialising before something had happened. Things would probably pick up again later on though as otherwise there was no point in even having a Yule Ball. Finishing off the last bit of his drink George looked around again and noticed a girl (Brooke) sat by herself in the corner. With nothing else to do George decided it wouldn’t hurt going over and joining her. Resting his empty cup down on the table George waltzed over to her and sat down on the chair next to her ”Hi” He smiled hoping he didn’t seem a little crazy or weird. He wasn’t quite sure of any other way he could approach the girl anyway.

"Yeah yeah, I get it you are sorry, I probably won't totally forgive you for the whole Julia thing for awhile, but I will work on it," she said looking seriously. He was lucky, she was not much on forgiveness, once you were on her bad list, you stayed there for life. For instance, Julia had been on her bad list ever since her first visit to the Geet residence. She was so cute and bubbly and charming. She had everything Richie did not, a loving father, great friends, lots of talent, the only thing she had ever had on her was she had a mother who actually cared about her. She used to rub it in her face all the time too.
She was a little disappointed he was leaving, she was sort of joping they could catch up, but she understood. She didn't particularly like that he was going to be with her, but she had no control over the situation so for the moment she would let sleeping dogs lie. "Yeahh... I am suddenly exhausted, and I rather hate school functions anyway," she said trying to sound indifferent. She saw his gaze drift to her robe, she crossed her arms over her stomach, completely covering everything he could possibly be looking at. She hoped he didn't think that she was loose like Julia, that may led to some very interesting and awkward situations. "Yeah, of course, see you around," she said with a weak smile, she actually was really tired, Time for bed.

Almost as if he could read her thoughts he nodded, "We can hang out during lunch one day, you know, talk and catch up." he said grinning. He began walking backwards towards the exit, he knew it'd be a bad idea to turn his back on her, for one thing, it was kinda disrespectful with the whole situation he was already in. He smirked as she crossed her arms due to his looking. Well, maybe she wasn't so easy to check out as Julia, but Richelle still was very hot. As his thoughts drifted to thinking just about her, Eric tripped backwards over a chair, he fell back on to the floor, but getting to his feet quickly, "I'm fine." he said to make up for the mistake. "Have a good night." he said watching her, trying to hide his small embarrassment by grinning. Turning only when he felt his back hit the Portrait Hole. He climbed out.
What a night... he said to himself, as he walked along the Dungeon Corridor. He loosened his tie up, he didn't notice until just now how choking it felt. Maybe the whole earlier scene made him think of other things so he totally disregarded the choking feeling. He unbuttoned the top button of his shirt as well, hoping to make himself feel looser and more comfortable. He practically sprinted up the stairs, taking two at a time. Now he had to find Watson and set things straight with her. He walked through the Entrance Hall in to the Great Hall.
