"Oh, it's okay. I didn't know my mum very well. She was sorta in and out of my life. And my dad, well, I never met him so it doesn't make much of a difference. Oh, I feel like I'm rambling. I'm sorry. When I get around you, I feel like I can't shut up. I never talk this much." OH MY GOD!!! Why can't I SHUT UP!!!! I look like a complete and total IDIOT. Riley rold herself. She had no idea what on earth made her feel so comfortable around Mike. She had never felt this way with ANYONE. Not a single person. In fact, the whole social experience was very uncomfortable to her. But not with Mike. WHAT is it about him??

Mike sort of just nodded at this, "It's alright." he said laughing, despiste his laugh he felt a little uncomfortable now. Audrey had told him to be careful, he knew what she meant, that Mike should not exactly lead on to Riley that maybe he although he had a girlfriend, he had feelings for her. It wasn't that Mike hated Riley, but he figured he should maybe make his exit before she got too much more comfortable with him around. He piled the books he had taken into his bag, he had already checked them out, "So listen, I have some other things to go take care of, I guess I'll see you around?" he said, beginning to stand up, in a way, the more time before their next meeting, the better, but deep down inside, the next meeting would probably be soon if Riley had a say in it.

Riley wasn't too shocked at Mike's unexpected exit. He had a girlfriend after all. "Yeah. Definantly see you in the corridors sometimes. Maybe in class? Thanks for the talk. It was nice," Riley told him graciously. She figured she'd leave him in the library to his book. She gathered her things and left, mulling over the days very surprising events.
