Moki rolled her eyes. "The fourth year girl can protect herself," she said proudly. Justin wasn't saying anything at all, but she could bet he was probably as pissed as she imagined about Mike's appearance. Well, she wasn't letting Slytherin get its ass publicly kicked if she could help it. She took a second to appreciate the good fortune that she was wearing simple Muggle jeans, very easy to move in, and a t-shirt. Not much harm could be dealt to her based on restrictive clothing, at any rate. She smiled, her dark eyes glittering with excitement. She was ready for this. "Hope you don't have any problem hitting a girl," she remarked.

Katarina walked through the corridor towards the Ravenclaw Common Room, her cheeks flushed with frustration and the heat of rage seeping from her skin. Her footsteps were hard, as if her feet carried her entire weight. "Casper fucking Castora!" she muttered violently. Previously during potions, Castora had gotten rather... upset at Katarina's refusal to be family orientated. To Casper, that seemed to be a waste of power and he didn't like waste. So, his way to fix this was to show Katarina just how miserable she would be. Hence, the detention he earned her in Potions that morning. A two hour detention. Vindictive thoughts raced through her mind faster than a snake attacks his prey.
"Hope you don't have any problem hitting a girl,"
Surprisingly through the evil thoughts of revenge that seemed to cloud her mind, she heard voices and slowly lifted her gray eyes filled with rage. Oh how utterly convenient.... she thought to herslef at the sight of her current enemy standing directly in front of her baring arms against Mike and Zachary- her housemates, her friends. Standing by his side were Justin McCarter and Moki Kagawa. Quickly assessing the situation she withdrew her own wand and spoke up to Moki "I don't" and with a quick flick of her wand she shouted "Expelliarmus!" with more rage than she intended, flinging poor Moki's wand a good forty feet down the hallway.

Justin chose to remain silent and take in the situation at first. He chose to assess the situation before attacking- it was how he was raised. Before even offering a sale on the Black Market, his father would assess the prospective buyer. "Look for weaknesses. Only those with power possess no foolishness" Zachary would cast the first spell, he knew that. Casper was testing him, if he passed- Zachary would retaliate. If he failed, he would beg Casper for his silence. Knowing Zachary's character from the lawns a few days back, Zachary was not the type to fail at anything. It wasn't until Casper's counter reflected off of him that Justin quickly decided upon his first casting. Within two mere seconds he raised his wand above his right shoulder and shouted "Finite Incantatem!" Therefor negating all spells, specifically Zachary's mirror charm.
Mike's approach wasn't surprising at all to Justin and it caused a surge of excitement as Mike "laid claim" upon him. These poor souls know nothing of proper battling techniques. This will be a bloody waste of the next four minutes that we SHOULD be spending fixing my slight problem in the dungeon... he took in Mike from head to toe, wand to shoulder No... make that two minutes. He's driven by hatred towards me, not power.
"I don't" and with a quick flick of her wand she shouted "Expelliarmus!"
His heart sank a little at the familiar voice. Katarina Devanport. Despite his acceptance of it he was torn between his loyalty to his friend and his house and Katarina. He looked from her gray eyes fuming with vengeance to Casper's calm brown eyes- he had found his weakness.

Casper twisted his wand between his fingers as he watched Zachary and Mike's conversation. At least, from what Casper suspected, the more challenging of the two chose him over Justin. With Moki's now declared allegiance to the Slytherin House the two of them would just be unpredictable practicing dummies. He quickly took in Moki, he knew nothing of her, but her fidelity to Slytherin was certainly admirable and momentarily placed her high in his book.
"Expelliarmus!"
He hadn't even noticed the approach of Katarina Devanport. At the moment she proved to be quite a disappointment to him- such good breeding and money yet lacking entirely of devotion to anyone other than herself. The day's previous events skimmed through his mind quickly
"Katarina, you do realize you possess the potential to be one of the most powerful students here at Hogwarts, correct? Why not ameliorate yourself and your family with that power?" Despite Justin's compliment she brushed past him, walked a few steps and turned. "Yes, I intend to improve myself to how I see fit. But I would rather die a thousands deaths than show my alliance to someone or something because it's what I'm told. I think for myself, I don't need Mum or Dad to do that for me."
He wasn't going to lie, that hit him hard in the heart. Was he thinking for himself, or was he thinking was he was told to think by his parents? Revenge was all too simple then to reverse the colors of that day's potion. As she mixed them in her cauldron, the final outcome was acceptable. How was he to suspect Katarina to volunteer her work to be tested first sending some poor soul to the Hospital Wing and for the professor to be convinced that Devanport had done it on purpose? Who was he kidding? It made the revenge of her previous words even sweeter.
"Have a good detention Devanport?" Once again a smirk played its way upon his lips. Judging by her indignation, he had succeeded in pissing her off as much as she had him. This is when he thought to look at Justin; his infatuation with Katarina was something no one could ignore- even when they wanted to. It sickened Casper even worse that Katarina's insubordination. Romance was never anything Casper had the desire to waste time on. It seems to consume it's slaves and Casper's allegiance was to the prosperity of himself and his family and nothing else. He had never noticed his dear friend, McCarter, to fall for anyone (actually, in his past, he used to be quite the player and the envy of many of their fellow male house-mates) and anyone could tell he was quick witted and strong in battle. The four others standing in that room could judge that by the dead birds laying on the ground. Justin was he friend, there was no denying that, so he chose his next few words carefully.
"Justin." he said strongly yet without raising his voice "Katarina is hardly worthy of you." He took in the short brunette. So many things came to mind, but he filtered them cautiously. He aimed his wand to Moki's and made a nonverbal Accio sending her wand flying into his left hand. He held it out to the defenseless fourth year. "Let Moki deal with her."
Once his peace was said, he turned his attention from Justin to Zachary. Thanks to Justin, Zachary was now rendered defenseless and he didn't bother to shout the spell. No, Zachary proved to be a fan of nonverbals and Casper was curious to see if he was just as talented at defending them as he was casting them. " Impedimenta" he thought violently with a swish of his wand from above his head- much resembling a sword.

"I don't" and with a quick flick of her wand she shouted "Expelliarmus!"
Thank god. Zachary's other "friend" had decided to make an appearance in perfect timing; he had no desire to attack a girl, much less a girl younger than he. Zachary stood in the same position he had been standing in for the past few minutes, perfectly still, calm, poised. He analyzed the situation as much as possible, leaving no room for error and never going undefended. He took quick mental notes of everyone he saw.
Mike, he was a loyal ravenclaw to the end. Set to help Zachary out even if Zachary might not have done the same for him, this Zachary was grateful for. But loyalty wasn't necessarily what he needed in a battle, he needed skill and power. Zachary had previously seen Blaze cast a nonverbal patronus with ease and prayed he had more tricks up his sleeve.
Justin, he posed a potential threat. Justin had voided Zachary's mirror charm in a matter of seconds. Zachary cast it rather quickly and inattentively but anyone that could void any of Zachary's charms on their first try had a pack to their punch, that was certain. He seemed to have been in control of the situation, and lethal until the arrival of Katerina.
Katerina, hell hath no fury like a woman scorn. Katerina was fuming with anger. Her words were indignant, her spell was ferocious, and her eyes were unforgiving. Zachary almost felt sorry for Moki.
Moki, the youngest apparently. The young Japanese girl was rather nice to look at, and seemed to be handling the situation in a mature manner, that is until she decided she was going to attack Zachary.
Casper, last but not least. Zachary had an instant hatred for Casper. He instantly felt as though Casper posed a threat to him, in every field imaginable. He was just as poised and confident, and appeared to be just as wealthy. Casper was a powerful wizard, even through his mirror charm Zachary felt his curse. For the first time, Zachary was intimidated, which made the game that much more fun.
Zachary noticed Casper swing his wand over his head and prepared himself. He was waiting on his opponent to scream a curse, as most others did. Waiting did not work out for Zachary, apparently his opponent was also good with nonverbals, because Zachary was now flying backwards through the corridor. He hit the stone wall about 10 feet behind him with such intensity that the sight of impact, the back of his head, was now bleeding. He fell to the ground and could now feel parts of stone from the wall where he had previously crashed into falling upon him. His vision escaped him for a second, but a second only.
He forced himself back to his feet, looked at Casper, and did something very rare, he smiled. The crooked grin swept across his bloody face slowly, and grimly.
This kid is serious. Finally, a little fun. It was obvious that this blow had seriously injured Zachary, but he was nowhere near close to finished. "Is that all you've got?" He said loudly followed by bone-chilling grim laugh. "Come on now, Casper isn't it? You can do better than that." He walked back closer to Casper, ignoring those around him, contemplating what his next move would be. "Just because I'm covered in blue dosen't mean I'm going to play fair now dose it?" His voice was now booming. His wand made a harsh jabbing motion. Petrificus Totalus! By now he was inches from Casper, he raised his right arm, this time wandless and let out a knuckle-cracking blow to Casper's face. "Even a Ravenclaw can get rough!" He said as the body-bound victim fell backwards to the hard stone floor of the dismal castle.

Casper's dueling technique decided for Justin. Despite the fact that he didn't know Katarina very well personally, he had somehow grown to care for her. However, he wasn't going to betray his childhood friend and leave him body-bound and defenseless for a girl whom he could hardly call an acquaintance. He cast one last glance towards Katarina. Even through her hostility her allure was undeniable. If not even more attractive to him because of her passion and confidence. That was the last second he allowed himself to waste before quickly swishing his wand towards his comrad and shouting "Relashio!" immediately followed by "Episkey!" which quickly unbound his friend from the petrificus curse and healed the minor wounds Zachary had inflicted; in which, from pain alone, would prove to hinder Casper in battle.
Quickly, Justin turned his attention to Mike, a smile tugging his lips upwards and a laugh tickling the back of his throat. Adrenaline pumped through his blood like heroine and his knuckles began to turn white from his grip around his wand. There was no time for formalities- a bow would not be necessary. Actually, judging by Zachary's moves, all rules seemed to be in void. At this moment Justin realized this wasn't a duel, this was a battle. Sparing no time to waste toying with Mike using harmless second year spells, he aimed his wand towards Mike's wand arm and shouted "Sectumsempra!" hoping that the pain from the cuts would be enough for Mike to drop his wand, forcing his surrender

Zachary had gotten up quickly and a bit to eager than Casper was expecting. He was strong willed and proved to be a challenge. Not that he was going to allow any sign of it, Zachary's malicious laughter chilled straight through Casper's bones; it was the first time that Casper had ever felt the threat of possibly losing.
"Just because I'm covered in blue dosen't mean I'm going to play fair now dose it?" His voice was now booming. His wand made a harsh jabbing motion. Petrificus Totalus!
Casper felt the loss of control of his body and the hard hit his unsupported 160 pounds made on the cold, stone floor. There was a surge of pain that Casper could feel race its way from his right rib, up his spine and into his brain. There was no denying the severe internal bruise that was caused from direct contact between his ribcage and the floor.
By now he was inches from Casper, he raised his right arm, this time wandless and let out a knuckle-cracking blow to Casper's face. "Even a Ravenclaw can get rough!" He said as the body-bound victim fell backwards to the hard stone floor of the dismal castle.
As Zachary lifted his body from the ground, another surge of pain entered his body, this time sparing no area- just surging all over. As his hand raised Casper mentally braced himself for the wrath which was about to come upon his face. As the knuckles collided with his skin, the agony was unlike anything he had ever experienced. In the midst of a fair fight, adrenaline is coursing and pain isn't recognized until hours later. However, the petrificus curse removed all adrenaline from his body and caused every surge of pain to be fully recognized and analyzed by his body. As the knuckles collided he felt his cheekbone crack and his nose and eye already begin to swell. He could feel his teeth tear a small chunk of meat from his cheek and he could taste the copper of the blood as it seeped in between his teeth and onto his tongue.
quickly swishing his wand towards his conrad and shouting "Relashio!" immediately followed by "Episkey!" which quickly unbound his friend from the petrificus curse and healed the minor wounds Zachary had inflicted
He felt his body relax and the return of his control shortly followed by relief from his ribs and face. He jumped to his feet quickly and without hesitation, or moment to compose himself, flicked his wand and shouted "Fiendfyre!" with ferocity lacing his deep voice. Immediately a spit of fire came from his wand which quickly evolved into a seven foot cobra. The snake's opened its mouth, extracting the fangs, and attacked Zachary with as much vengeance that was in Casper's voice.

Mike watched Moki for a moment when she came closer to the four guys, and she hoped that he and Zachary had no problem hitting a girl, Mike had intentions of going after, unless she went after him first. At that moment Kat came appeared. Mike smirked, "Good to see you Kat." he said with a nod, he looked at Moki very curious to see her reaction to this. The Slytherins wanted a fight, they'd get one.
As Justin turned to heal Casper and he looked at Mike ready to begin, Mike was ready. he aimed his wand towards Mike's wand arm and shouted "Sectumsempra!" hoping that the pain from the cuts would be enough for Mike to drop his wand, forcing his surrender Mike heard the words knowing what was about to come, feeling an instant pain in his wand arm, he saw three deep cuts, blood beginning to trickle down his arm. His left hand instantly gripping over the cuts, a sudden look of pain in Mike's face, he bit his lip for a moment hoping to get the pain to go away. Once the pain resided, blood still gushing out between his fingers, he looked up, nodding his head a little with a smile, shaking his arm to try to ignore the pain, he lifted his arm slowly, and pointed it at a book shelf, "Confringo" and watched as it exploded in to flames behind Justin, he had two goals of this move, one to show him that Mike didn't play around and two, to distract Justin, knowing Justin most likely knew Mike wanted some revenge for his arm. Might as well back up a distraction with an attack. Justin wasn't afraid of getting right to business, well, neither was Mike. He turned, his left hand releasing from his arm, covered in blood, right arm raised, blood running down his arm, he pointed his wand at Justin letting his aim move to Justin's chest, thinking the words carefully in his head, Sectumsempra.

Good grief, things were getting crazy in a hurry. As soon as Casper summoned Moki's wand back for her, the boys started playing dirty. She didn't have time to watch, though - she was sure Katarina was not going to stand around spectating. Catching her wand as it zoomed through the air back to her, she acted fast, throwing a well-placed Jelly-Legs Jinx at Kat before she could be hexed herself. Apparently she was in this thing, so she'd have to take some hits. But she wasn't going to start out by hitting Kat with something like Sectumsempra - honestly, what were they thinking?!?
OOC: Wow, this post was rubbish, I'm sorry guys, I dk what my beef is.

Zachary took a half-second to check on his house-mates. He looked left to see Moki and Kat going at it, they were holding their own, Katerina was furious, and definitely did NOT need nor want his help. He had never seen Katerina so enraged in the short time he had known her, it made him wounder what was bothering her, and feel pitty for Moki, whom she was taking it out on (that is had Moki not attempted to take Zachary on 3v1.) Moki was holding her own fairly well for her age.
To his right he glanced just in time to see Blaze throw a curse. He was unaware what curse he was sending because his mind could not focus on anything but the three, deep, perfect severs in his wand arm. Sectumsempra? Damn, they mean business. Ferula! A long bandage made its way out of the tip of Zachary's wand and wrapped itself tightly around Mike's arm. All of this is because of me? Damn. His face became a bit flushed with anger, however he stayed in control. Staying in control happened to get harder by the second, since Zachary was loosing blood from the back of his head at an alarming rate.
flicked his wand and shouted "Fiendfyre!" with ferocity lacing his deep voice.
Perfect! Moki didn't tell him what I was doing! Zachary did not hesitate to react. Casper's curse was flawed, of course it was, these spells were far above any of their levels, except for Zachary's Augamenti. He had been practicing it tentatively for the past few weeks. As the heat from the giant serpent felt as if it was cauterizing his wounds, zachary moved his right arm in a motion foreign to simple spells and thought Augamenti! Fight fire with fire? No thanks. Zachary was too logical for that kind of shit, this was real, and in reality, you fight fire with a whole lot more water.

"Confringo" and watched as it exploded in to flames behind Justin
Justin remained motionless as the debris flew around him- even hitting him in some cases leaving what would surely soon develop into a rather painful bruise. No matter the distraction, he dared not remove his green eyes from Mike, he was his target. He was unprepared, however , for Mike's nonverbal however. He hadn't expected that one, especially from a sixth year like Mike. The pain accross his chest was undeniable and stung as if he were attacked by dozens of bees. Justin looked as the warm, crimson liquid stained his once crisp white shirt. Slowly, he lifted his left hand and touched the blood with his pointer and middle finger, as if to make sure it were real. He extended his hands away from his new wound, returned his gaze to Mike, and lifted his two fingers to his mouth and sucked the blood off of them.
He stepped back about an inch, braced himself in his fighting stance, and then shouted " Duro!" with a fast and forceful flick of his wand. As Mike's body turned to stone, Justin relaxed his stance and slowly approached him knowing full well of Mike's ability to still hear. "It's so difficult for me to not just push you over right now, shattering your body. Hell, I can only think of one reason as to why I'm not even going to break off a limb" he cast a glance over to Katarina for the first time since the beginning of the duel. "You can think her once someone returns you to your original form."

Throwing a well-placed Jelly-Legs Jinx at Kat before she could be hexed herself.
Kat reacted by leaning against the nearest wall at the sudden loss of support from her legs. This merely pissed her off more. Seriously? A jelly-legs jinx? quickly she muttered the anti-jinx and composed herself; her gray eyes still containing the fiery hatred from mere moments earlier.
“So you want to do first year spells do you? We can play this game.” She flicked her wand abruptly “Impedimenta! First year, first quarter.” she slowly advanced towards Moki’s bound body and flicked her wand again “Expelliarmus! First year, also first term!” by now she was within inches of Moki, her posture not unlike a Slytherin. Once again, flicked her wand “Silencio. First year, third quarter.” Her voice was eerily calm with the last spell. Within thirty seconds she had bound, disarmed, and silenced her opponent. There was now denying the surge of victory coursing in her veins.

Mike watched Justin with a look of content on his face as Justin's shirt slowly turned from white to crimson. "Doesn't feel so good does it?" Mike called to Justin, he glanced down at his bandaged right arm, the pain had resided a little, but it still hurt to move his arm, however he kept his wand at a ready position, knowing full well that Justin would would want revenge for that Sectumsempra.
As Justin took a moment to get a reality check for what had just happened, Mike glanced sideways at Zachary who had a cobra of fire advancing at him, then put out with an augamenti spell. Looking to the other side, Kat was recovering from a jelly legs jinx and then proceeded to attack Moki. Mike looked forward to Justin, just as his head turned to face Justin, he rose his wand to send a quick curse at Justin, however, his arm began stiff and soon, his whole body became stone. Not able to move his arms, nor any part of his body, he was terrified as Justin approached him. Mike could hear him fully, but he could not reply. Mike was at Justin's mercy, Justin was most likely going to take advantage of Mike's friend's occupancy to finish Mike off with a simple spell to blow the stone to pieces. Just get it over with. Mike continuously thought over and over, this was probably it. However, the last thing he expected was, "You can think her once someone returns you to your original form.". Mike watched him, what was he up to? Was he really not gonna take advantage here?

A smile of pride proudly displayed itself amongst Casper's face. Granted, his spell was slightly flawed but Fiendfyre was a challenge for some of the most experienced wizards.
Augamenti!
This water curse was something that took Casper completely and totally unawares. His fierce cobra went out in a cloud of steam and the powerful force of water met Casper's body like a wall of cement, propelled him backwards into the stone wall. This fall was accompanied by a loud and painful snap. His left shoulder blade and been broken. He cried out in agony as his body rebound from the wall. As the initial pain subsided and shock wore in, he took a brief glance at his housemates. Moki and Katarina were at it as only females could be. Katarina was standing over her victoriously, but he was certain Moki could hold her own. Justin on the other hand looked completely victorious by Mike who was now a statue.
His gazed returned to Zachary. Never in his life had Casper ever hated someone as much as he hated Zachary at this moment. Through the pain of his wound he flicked his wand and performed a nonverbal of Antonin Dolohov's personal torture curse. It was something his father himself had taught him and was, currently, legal with the Ministry of Magic. The exact effects of this curse were unknown, but enormous amounts of internal pain.

Katarina turned her attention from the fourth year to her fellow classmates for the first time. Zachary and Casper where at each other's necks. Their fight was made pure out of pent up rage and fight for superiority- it was obvious by their injurious and the spells cast. Her face dropped form its previous victorious state at the sight of poor Mike made of complete stone. Her gray eyes looked from Justin to Mike and back to Justin. A part of her was impressed, she couldn't ignore that. Just had preformed several spells well beyond their years consecutively. Yet there was Mike, completely helpless with Justin standing mere inches from his body. Still caught up in the moment of the duel she aimed her wand at Justin's own wand and shouted "Accio wand!" She was tired of fighting and just wanted to render Justin incapable of turning and attacking her or Zachary next
