Ummm... uh oh. There was definitely trouble in paradise. She stood awkwardly by as Audrey ranted and all but went off on Mike. She mention something about something happening between them, she didn't think anything happened. Why didn't people understand her? She didn't feel things, she didn't have deep feelings for anyone. It was all shallow with her. But maybe something had happened with Mike. But he was in love and Julia was emotionally unavailable. Ugh. This was messing with her head, maybe she should avoid Mike for a few days. She didn't have anyone to talk to back in the feast so she headed up to her dorm room.

"Audj, can we talk?"
Hearing his feet squish in the soggy grass, she had stopped and allowed him to catch up. In response to his question she took a few steps and spun around, her wet hair flying around and sticking to odd places on her face. Audrey left it there. "I'm pretty sure we just did. But sure. What else do you have to add? Did you seduce Moaning Myrtle while you were hanging out with Julia and Riley?" Pain filled Audrey's eyes, and she wasn't even sure why. She only knew that she felt it, and it wasn't leaving. Taking a step closer to Mike, she inquired, "What else, Mike? Who else? And don't you dare tell me that you don't feel anything else other than friendship for Julia. I know what just friendship looks like. And that...that...was not just friendship." The chilled raindrops sent a shiver down Audrey's thin frame. What was pain transformed into anger, and Audrey was glad. Anger was manageable. Audrey could deal with anger. "Spill Mike. Now." She spit the words with more venom than she thought she possessed. "And don't lie."

Before Mike began to speak, he noticed Audrey shivering, although she was made at him, he knew she'd be grateful, "Here" he said, pulling off his sweat shirt placing it over her shoulders. "Look, let me start off by saying, nothing happened between me and Julia, we talked that's it. I'll admit, with the time we spent together, I did start liking her, but right now I only love her as, I guess you could say a little sister. She's a good looking girl, but not anywhere near as gorgeous as you are." he was glad Julia was not around, she was beautiful, but Audrey was as well and right about now Mike needed Audj to know that. "Audrey, I love you. You're the only one I'd ever love as much as I love you." Mike said looking in to her eyes, "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I wanna pr..." he stopped, "I wanna protect you and keep you safe." this second part sounded rather odd, but he had made it up on the spot, Audrey didn't know Mike planned to propose to her on the day of graduation next year, yet right there he almost told his secret. "I'm sorry, Audj." he said.

"I'm sorry, Audj." he said.
Audrey bad mood seemed to be washed away by his words and the rain. "I'm sorry too," she said, hugging him tightly. "And I love you more than you could possibly know or comprehend." Audrey knew that as much as she would love to go back inside to the feast and sit beside Mike and have a good time, what she really needed to do was to think things over. She was staying with Mike. There wasn't much of an option in her mind. Stay with Mike and be happy and loved, or not be with Mike and go back down the same path she had last year with Axel. No, she would definitely stay with Mike. Forever.
"Right now I just need sometime to myself. I need to think about some stuff. And it's not anything to do with you; it's all me, babe." She kissed him and turned away. Maybe she would walk in the rain for a while. Maybe she would go to the Shrieking Shack. Maybe she would do both. Somehow, though, she would be doing a lot of introspective thinking tonight. Audrey looked back at Mike over her shoulder. "I love you, forever," she said with a weak smile and then walked into the drenching rain.

As she hugged him, everything that had happened seemed to dissapear. He wrapped his arms around her, resting his chin on her head. "I love you so much." he said in reply to her, smiling and gazing off in to the rain, all his thoughts were on Audrey right now. When she explained she needed some time alone, he nodded. "I understand." he kissed her back when she kissed him, he pulled his arms away as she turned away. "And ever, and ever." Mike said smiling, watching her as she walked. Right now, he wished he could go with her, but she needed to think, and he respected that, he had thinking of his own to do, but he'd put it off until later, he pulled his bag back over his shoulder walking back in to the Castle.

"Uhmm..."
Jacob peeked quietly through the giant oak doors leading into the great hall. Yes, he should go in there. Yes, he should sit down and eat some food. Yes, he would see friendly faces, but.. a small fear hidden deep inside him kept niggling at the fact there were slytherins in there. His dad had told him many horrific stories about his bullies at Hogwarts, as bedtime stories for the past few weeks. Jacob was sure he wasn't trying to make him frightfully afraid of them, but somehow now he was. "Oh jeesh... just go in there.. you're not even going to have to sit with them." he tried coaxing himself, as he took a step in. "Just avoid the table.. just avoid the table.." he murmured silently, before taking in a deep breath. He pulled the rest of his tiny form into the room, shutting the door behind him. He scanned the room for the tiny badger on student robes, hoping not to see the serpent ones. Oh, they were so cruel!
Once he saw the yellow spotted robes at the side of the room he began, with a fast paced walk, his journey over there. He kept glancing behind him, and to his side every so often, just to make sure no big kids were going to jump him. You never knew, you know.
Once he was a few steps away from an empty seat he almost pounced on it, but slowed as he came to sit, gingerly placing his bottom on the wood. Everyone else seemed okay, chatting with other students around them, and Jacob felt so sterile. He sat erect, hands on his knees, looking down the table. From what he saw he didn't know anybody. He glanced behind him at the other tables, and the red, blue, and green all sported with them. As he turned to sit forward again a feather landed softly on his sleeve almost making him jump out of his skin.
"Oh dear.. Oh dear.." he muttered, pushing it away gently. Who knew where that thing had been, or why it was even in the same room as the food. He sighed at some imaginary ignorance and quietly grabbed a muffin out of a basket nearby and slowly nibbled away at it, glancing around anxiously. This was going to be a tough year.

"Eep" she squealed lightly when a student plopped upon the seat adjacent to her own. Jumpy? Pft no! Not her...never. Okay so maybe. She smiled warmly at him but re-occupied herself with her orange, and it's trixy peel. Evil really, if she must say so herself. I mean they aren't just a pain in the buttox to peel, you get gunk under your nails and sometimes juice squirts in your eye...a lot of trouble for a fruit really. She thought it worth it though. She adored oranges with a passion that blazed like the sun. Simple things made her happy. "Aha!" she chimed triumphantly as finally her peel had been peeled and she was able to eat the succulent orange. Yum.
Randomly her curiosity rather took over and she glanced up at they boy again, nope she'd never met him before. Drats. Well, never hurt to introduce yourself, or so she supposed, then again for all she knew he could stab her with a fork or something..."Hiya" she chimed smiling "I'm Annabelle" oh wowzers did she sound corny, ah well... "and you are?" darn curiosity, should be a removable trait.

Richie was not into school functions, usually she would have totally ditched it all together but she got dragged there by some pushy prefect with bad hair and an unfortunate face. She finally broke free from the boys death grip in the Great hall, slimy little toad. She would deal with him later. Right now she needed to get away from the icky commoners. She made her way over to the Slytherin table, trying hard not to get pummeled by the barbaric masses.
She looked up and down the table searching for someone to sit by who would not bother her. Slytherin has gotten a lot less selective. I mean, Katelynn isn't even a pureblood. Though Richie liked Katelynn more then most. It wasn't clear why, Richie is rich and Katelynn is poor. Richie never associated with anyone who was not of the purest blood, but Katelynn was intriguing, facinating really.
Speakingof Katelynn, she was already occupied with that Dante kid, she was pretty sure she was related to him, like a ways back, a few generations at least, but she was related to most of the wealthier Slytherins, there was even some Ravenclaws in there somewhere. And anyway she was pretty sure the older girl didn't like her all that much. But she was just going to have to get over that. Richie was pushy and narcissistic and egotistical, but she did have a tendency to grow on people.
But anyway. Enough about poor little Katelynn. Richie Finally found a seat by some terrified little first years. Before she sat down she gave them a menacingly look that seemed to say 'Don't you dare talk to me.' She distanced herself as much as she could from the snotty nosed runts, leaving two spaces on either side of her. She saw a few little friends of her brother, who thank god, would not be arriving for another two years, and then her sister would arrive two years after. Her Brother was such a pushover though, she'd probably end in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. Her mother had made him soft, being all lovey dovey and shit. It wasn't like she gave Richie the time of day. Her mother and brother was a waste of time and space in her opinion.

Eric Blaze walked down the Staircase. Lateness was always a common quality for him, whether it was late for class, or get togethers, it always happened. Late for the feast, he was starving, but he figured he'd skip all the speech crap in the beginning. Coming down the stairs, he heard talk of some sort of commotion that happened earlier. Hmm, commotion, and he didn't start, nor had anything to do with, it? He heard the name Mike Blaze used. Great, another idiotic thing his cousin went and did, the name Blaze was always being insulted by Mike, which fucked up Eric's reputation, which is why he never told anyone he was related to Mike. Eric couldn't even believe Mike was pureblood, not to mention related to him. Eric was the true pureblood of the family, Mike was just a sorry excuse. Passing by students he walked in to the Great Hall.
His instincts kicked in and he immediately strolled over to the Slytherin Table, searching for a place to sit. His gaze came across Richelle. Eric had seen her before, how could Eric forget her. She was very, very hot, that's for sure. He knew that she was a friend of Katelynn's. Eric had heard Richelle talking to Katelynn telling her she was going to be in Potions, so Eric knew he'd be seeing her a lot. He figured he'd give talking to Richelle a shot, besides he needed a place to sit anyhow. He walked over to where Richelle was, lowering himself on to the vacant spot next to her, "Hey. Richelle right?" he asked, giving her his famous grin which he always used to impress the ladies. "I'm Eric"

Richelle wasn't really hungry, nor did she want to eat the vile this school served them, if she did she would surely be in the hospital wing suffering from a stomach ache tonight. Richelle had a very sensitive stomach, she couldn't eat the rubbish they gave the general public. She longed for her personal chef. She had wanted so badly to bring him with her, but her bitch of a mother told her no. Probably because she was sleeping with him. At least that is the theory she told daddy.
Richie just ended up laddling some chicken soup into her bowl and grabbing a roll. It seemed safe enough. Then she felt someone sit down next to her. "Excuse me did I say..." she said as she turned to face whichever first year it was and bite their head off, maybe literally. She stopped when she saw who it was. It was that Eric guy. "Oh... Ummm... sorry, I thought you were some first year or something," she said slightly flustered. She was not expecting anyone to sit next to her, especially not a hot older student who she was amazingly not related to. The Blaze family was a pretty respectably family, except for it's obvious miss step in the form of Mike the super sensitive jock. Le barf. They weren't as wealthy as the Geet's, few people were, but they were definately wealthier then Katelynn's family. Anyway he didn't even think that he and Mike were related by blood.
"Yeah, I'm Richelle," she said in her signature 'I could care less" voice. Though she was actually suprised he knew her name. She was still just a little third year in the eyes of a majority of older students. Not worthy of thought, though she could probably buy that thought, patent it and sue you for thinking it. Money and class gave you more power then your normal third year, but you were still just a third year. She looked at Eric just in time to see his signature grin. She involuntarily let a very minute smile flash across her face for a millisecond. "I know who you are," she said nonchalantly pushing her hair behind her ear.

Eric laughed at her sudden defensive speech when she first thought he was a first year. Smirking he said, "If I was a first year, I don't think I'd have the courage to put himself before the presence of a girl as cute as you." he said with that same grin. He looked past her at the few first years on her other side, then he looked back at her, in to her eyes this time, "Besides, if I was anything like them..." he said casually pointing to the first years. "I wouldn't bother coming in to the Great Hall, 'cause I know I wouldn't be wanted. But of course I'm not like them." he said laughing.
"Thought so, I've seen you hanging around with Katelynn." he said, as he saw her smile flash, "May I say, you have a beautiful smile." he said returning her smile with... yep, you guessed it, another grin. Eric was known to be a smooth talker and obnoxious. Only obnoxious to, people he hated, Mike, most people not all though in other Houses, Mike, people who annoyed him, and did he forget to say Mike. But to the ladies and friends of his, he was a pretty nice guy, and always smooth talked the ladies, cause that's how he rolled. When Richelle said that she knew who he was, "Now do you then? Hope you know me for the good things, rather not the bad." he said smirking.

Once Jacob realized the muffin he was eating was chocolate chip, he had graduating to actually eating eat with normal bites. He was fond of chocolate chip muffins, his mother used to make them all time back at his home. But he almost tossed the poor muffin in the air when he heard a rather loud squeak from the girl next to him, so he placed it gently in front of him in case any other surprised were ready to attack him in the future. Oh yes, he was ahead of the game!
He looked over at the girl, who seemed to have finished peeling and orange. She looked very pretty, and had nice wavy blonde hair. Jacob felt his ugly mug, of dirty blonde messiness. Too bad his mom wouldn't let him get it all shaved off, something about his head being cold..
Jacob was overcome with nervousness when she had turned over to him and introduced herself. He nodded to her with acknowledgment, before clearing his throat. "Hello... I'm uhm... Jacob, yeah...you can call me Jake though, my mom says it's good to have a nickname" Oh no.. did he just mention his mom? He could feel his cheeks go rosy red, and he started twiddling his thumbs nervously, why, why did he have to bring her up? "Do you have.. err, a nickname... possibly?" he asked, not really sure if that was an appropriate question or not.

Richelle let another smile slip onto her face when he told her she was cute. What was wrong with her today? "Well, hypothetically, if you were a first year, you would find a fork up your nose for sitting here," she said charmingly. She was the only person she knew who could threaten someone and still remain completely charming. She gazed into his eyes for a moment. She felt her face flushing and looked away quickly. "Who says you are wanted here?" she said with another slight smile on her face.
"Yeaah... she an interesting girl, I can't figure out if she hates me or is always that abrasive," she said, forcing herself not to smile. She blushed a little when he commented on her smile. "Thank you... I do believe that you are trying to seduce me, and may I say, it is working," she said smiling again He was quite a ladies man, but she knew how it worked around here. The older students used the younger students to fufill their "needs." It was like an unwritten rule or something. But Richie would not let him lay a finger on her. "I am afraid I am not at liberty to discuss that," she said trying to look as serious as possible.

"No one said that I was wanted here, exactly." he said with a shrug, "But I can tell you want me here, am I right?" he said with a grin. Laughing at Richelle's thoughts on Katelynn he said, "Katelynn has her good days and bad. You can never tell who she likes and who she doesn't." Eric of course knew Katelynn liked him as a friend, she did use her sarcasm quite a lot, but she never was a bitch to him. Some people she could be to though, such as Mike, Eric knew Mike and Katelynn were semi friends, but she didn't talk to him much.
At her thank you, he nodded. Laughing when she mentioned how his seducing was working, "I guess that's just the best quality of me." he said smirking. "It'd be safe to say your best quality is your smile and eyes." he said grinning. He absentmindedly reached for an apple, he didn't quite realize how hungry he was.

She bit her bottom lip to keep herself from smiling. "Well maybe you are right." She chanced a glance into his eyes again as she smiled agian. He was so self centered, and she liked that. He wouldn't be clingy or to oversensitive. Perfect material for a new boyfriend. "I think she that she doesn't like me because I am rich, story of my life," she said rolling her eyes. "Everyone is just jealous," she said in her best dumb heiress voice and tossing her hair back. She didn't pretend like she had a horrible life, she knew she didn't, but she didn't pretend that it was a fairytale, it wasn't, but everyone had their family troubles, especially the rich.
"I think that you have other great qualities," she said slyly tilting her head downward a bit so she was looking up at him slightly. Her smile found it's way on to her face once again. "Well you are lucky to be seeing my smile so much," she said as another smile flashed on her face, "I don't usually smile this much, but for some reason I can't stop, maybe I am sick?" Lovesick was more like it. But she had to play it cool like ice. He was older and wouldn't fall for any little third year moves. She had to step up her game.
