Mike approached her. He wasn't going to act as if nothing had been happening, wrap his arms around Audrey and kiss her as much he truthfully wanted to right now, he wanted to explain to her. He promised her he'd never be like Axel and to do this, Mike was going to be open and honest with her. "Haven't seen you in a while. I've missed seeing you around these past couple of days." he said smiling. He wasn't just saying this, not at all, he meant it. Now that the opener was out of the way, he figured the first question Audrey had on her mind was, Who is she? He would've probably answered the question straight up, but maybe Audrey didn't wonder or maybe hadn't even seen Julia. Either way, he was going to introduce them. Julia was a good friend, even though it had only been two days since they met, she felt like a best friend to him. "I imagine you've been busy hanging with friends." he said, referring to Mike not having seen Audrey for a few days now. Mike wished for the slightest sign that Audrey wasn't mad or something. He wanted to hug her, kiss her, but first he wanted to clear this situation up. After the whole Riley ordeal, Mike didn't want Audrey letting jealousy get the best of her and making out with him infront of everyone just to prove she was his. Not that Julia would take it in the same way as Riley, cause Julia was different. "There's someone I want you to meet." Mike said, glancing over at the Ravenclaw table and back to Audrey, looking in her eyes.

Damn. Mike wasn't so bad, complimenting her and not disagreeing when she was being cocky. She was just about to answer with a snarky remark about love when he stood up and annouced she was here. Julia flinched involuntarily. Had she seen her totally hitting on him, had she gotten him in trouble. "Well shoooo, go see your woman, I can wait and just make small talk with the children," she said urging him on. She watched him leave and noticed how he had an incredible cute butt, damn that Audrey girl was lucky. She turned back around and stared at her plate. A song playing in her head.

He was being so nonchalant about all of it. Audrey wished it was that easy for her. He told her how muched he missed her, but didn't make a move to even hug her. Maybe it wasn't quite as easy for Mike as she had thought. "Yeah, I'm sorry. I've been really busy helping getting everyone moved back in. You know you have to do that if you come back early in Gryffindor. You have to..." she managed to shut her mouth before she continued her meaningless ramble. Audrey did that when she got nervous.
Why isn't he going to hug me? She certainly didn't want to intitate the hug without first having heard whatever it was that he came over to say, but she really just wanted to feel his arms around her. The girl hadn't realized how much she missed Mike. It was like there had been a hole in her middle. Every particle of her being just wanted to touch him, in some way. Holding hands would probably do the trick, but she wasn't going to initiate it. If he had met this other chick and wanted to be with her and was here to tell her that, then what kind of a fool would she make herself out to be by grabbing on to his hand or hugging him or kissing him? A huge one. He could initiate the physical contact then. Audrey wasn't one to make a fool out of herself if she had another option.
"There's someone I want you to meet." Mike said, glancing over at the Ravenclaw table and back to Audrey, looking in her eyes.
Audrey's heart thundered. Could he hear it? Probably. She didn't need to follow his brown gaze; she knew who he was looking at. "Who is she, Mike?" Her voice cracked a little when she asked, and her casual facade melted. She could feel the fear in her face and eyes. Audrey attempted to control it, but it refused to flee from her expression. "Who is she?" she repeated, softer this time.

Who is she, Mike?" Her voice cracked a little when she asked,
Mike sensing that she was uneasy about this, he knew straight up, she thought something else was going on, he kissed Audrey on her cheek, "A friend, just a friend, I want you to meet her." Mike said looking in to her eyes. He felt a lot better than he had for the past few days, finally being able to kiss Audrey after a while. He took her hand in his, lacing his fingers with hers. He turned back towards the Ravenclaw Table taking Audrey with him. Approaching the spot where he had been previously, where Julia still sat, he said, "Julia, this is my girlfriend, the one I've told you about, Audrey." he said looking from Julia to Audrey, "Audrey, this is Julia, a friend of mine who I just recently met, two days ago, I believe?" he said looking back to Julia. Mike turned his gaze on Audrey for a moment, he wanted her to know that Julia was nothing more than a friend, he did like Julia, a lot, but he loved Audrey a lot.

Audrey enjoyed the feeling of Mike holding her hand, but her heart was still clammoring away inside her chest despite her brain telling it to shut the hell up. She kept her head down while they walked. If this other girl was beautiful, she didn't want the entire walk to be able to analyze how beautiful she was exactly.
"Julia, this is my girlfriend, the one I've told you about, Audrey." he said looking from Julia to Audrey, "Audrey, this is Julia, a friend of mine who I just recently met, two days ago, I believe?"
The redhead looked up and allowed herself a sharp intake of breath before she clamped her lips shut. This Julia was beautiful. Audrey's eyes started to sting a little, but she refused to cry. "Hi." she squeaked. There was definitely an awkward feel to the whole situation. Where was Kat when Audrey really needed her? She looked from Mike to Julia and back to Mike. She didn't know what else to say.

Then suddenly he was backk, with a guest. Audrey was gorgeous and thin and seemed like the kind of girl everyone loves. She had no chance. Sure Julia was pretty and fairly thin, but she wasn't all that easy to like. Audrey looked like a model or a movie star. But yet she was threatened by Julia. She could tell how uneasy she was by the way she looked at her, almost analyzing her. She felt bad. Amazing right. Julia actually felt bad for causing this girl to panic. "So this is the famous Audrey," she said smiling pleasantly, "I've heard so much about you, I feel like I know you already."
This was awkward. But she could make it better. "He talks non-stop about you," she said looking from Audrey to Mike. She must resist the pickup-lines when she was around Audrey, because just in her presence she looked as if she was going to cry or vomit, or both.

Mike seeing and hearing Audrey's reaction to seeing Julia made his insides go cold. Damn it... what did he just do. When Audrey looked back to him, he avoided her eyes for the moment, looking at Julia. What was there to do, he could always turn, go out in to the Entrance Hall and punch a wall. He looked back to Audrey, and ran his hand over his head, which he did when he got nervous.
When Julia spoke finally Mike was relieved, "Yeah, this is the famous Audrey." he said smiling putting an arm around Audrey. Looking at Audrey, he said, "So yeah, I met Julia a few days ago, she's an amazing person, I think you two could be great friends." Mike's whole purpose of this was to show Audrey that Julia was not anything like RIley and that him and Julia were just close friends. When Julia said about how Mike talked non stop about Audrey, Mike let his head hang for a moment, he felt like hugging Julia at this point. Mike liked Julia a lot, but he knew that he and her would be just friends, that was it, Mike knew he'd do absolutely something bad to himself if he hurt Audrey as Axel had. Just not seeing her for a while and then meeting Julia changed me, it seems like. Mike looked back to Audrey, his arm still holding her tight.

"So this is the famous Audrey," she said smiling pleasantly, "I've heard so much about you, I feel like I know you already...He talks non-stop about you," she said looking from Audrey to Mike. So Audrey was famous, was she? Well, that was certainly new. "I wish I could say the same about you." Audrey said, trying to keep the bite out of her voice. She was almost entirely successful. Deciding to be the nice girl, she said, "Thanks for keeping Mike...company while I was busy. I'm afraid things got a little hectic, and I just didn't have enough time in the day for everyone." There. That was plenty nice and sweet. Audrey's mother would be glowing with pride if she were there to see it.
"So yeah, I met Julia a few days ago, she's an amazing person, I think you two could be great friends."
Audrey nearly swallowed her tongue. Being nice to the girl in public was one thing, but to be 'great friends' was quite another entirely. Audrey laughed, nervously. "I'm sure....that, umm, that could happen." She knew that Mike would know that she wasn't sure about being friends with Julia, but she was hoping that Julia would just see it as her being shy or nervous or something else that Audrey usually wasn't. Trying to be friendly and also change the subject, Audrey managed to find a single phrase in her mind. "So, Julia, what year are you?" Every syllable was drenched with awkwardness and slight distrust. She wasn't even sure why, but Julia had seemed so comfortable around Mike when Audrey had first seen them at the table. What exactly made the two of them so close when they had only known each other a couple of days? Audrey's head was reeling with questions that she should ask Mike, but she knew she probably wouldn't ever have the nerve to ask. After all, Audrey really wasn't the jealous girlfriend....was she?

This is like epic. Like meeting the parents epic. And Julia had the feeling she was failing epically. What was wrong, she was on her best behavior. Should she stop the act and go back to her bad pick-up lines and incessant flirting with Mike. Mike liked her for it. But she had a feeling Audrey would not appreciate it. She laughed uncomfortably at her first statement. She couldn't handle this. Could she make an escape? Fake an illness, run really fast out of there, or just ignore the entire situation. None of the options seemed promising. She just had to ham it up. She smiled incessantly at Audrey and didn't even look at Mike. "Ummm... You're welcome," she said awkwardly. What the Hell was she supposed to say to that. If she said 'it was my pleasure' that could be misconstrued a number of ways. If she said 'no problem' it would feel to much like she was babysitting. It was a weird thing to say.
Julia just disregarded the whole friends thing, she doubted this girl wanted to be friends with her. "I would like that," she lied. She would only like it if it wasn't this awkward. Her next comment, was innocent enough but her walls were getting weaker, she couldn't continue to be so fluffy and lovely and pleasant. It made her want to vomit. "Listen, you have nothing to fear from me. I hate commitment, I am not trying to steal him or anything, he is a friend, that is all he will ever be, and he is so crazy about you, can't you see that?" she rambled on disregarding her question. It was like the flood had broken through the damn and was heading straight for the town. When she realized what happened she laughed awkwardly. "Ummm.... well, that is one thing you will learn to love about me, I always speak what is on my mind, But maybe I should go, you two should talk," she said inching away slowly from the two, headed for the entrance hall, trying to make her escape. This was why she didn't do relationships. To much drama.

Audrey could feel her mental jaw drop when Julia gave her speech about not wanting to steal Mike, but she kept her physical jaw locked tight into it's postion. She felt awkward and kinda bitchy when the girl turned to leave. What is wrong with you, Audj? She said she didn't want Mike; Mike said he loves you. Get over it. It took Audrey only a second before she decided what she would do. Ignoring Mike altogether, she walked in the same direction that Julia had gone. Finding her quickly she cleared her throat.
"Umm...Julia?" This was exceedingly awkward, but that would just have to take a backseat for a moment. She was determined to not be the jealous girlfriend. Besides, she always had Kat to keep an eye on the two of them when she wasn't around. "Listen, I really would like for you to come back. I'm sorry. I have kind of a bad history with relationships, and this whole thing with Mike is pretty new, but..." The redhead dropped her gaze for a moment. Audrey let a small sigh escape from her lips. Gathering her thoughts and placing them in the correct order, she said, "I'm sorry. Please come back and sit with Mike." Audrey conveniently didn't say she was going to stay at the Ravenclaw table, because, in all honesty, she wasn't sure if she would. Maybe if Katarina would show up and save her from having to put as much effort into the whole situation she would, but that seat beside Hunter was looking rather comfy right about now. "Please. Mike would be really pissed if he thought that I'd run you off somehow."
There. Audrey had done everything she could to repair the damage she had undoubtedly done. If Mike wanted to have a hundred friends who would rather be something more, then that was fine. Audrey would just have to learn to have trust in him. She grimmaced a bit at the idea of trusting someone like that again and hoped that Julia didn't see it. It was up to Julia now. Maybe Audrey had made things just that awkward. Maybe she wouldn't go back to sit with Mike. Either way, Audrey had tried. It's the thought that counts, right?

Mike who had fell back on to the bench, replaying in his head what just happened didn't notice Audrey had turned to follow, he looked up seeing Audrey outside the Great Hall with Julia. He stood up, walking slowly towards them, he stayed just inside the Great Hall watching them. What was Audrey gonna say to Julia? He stood at a point where Audrey could not see him, and Julia could not either.
"Please. Mike would be really pissed if he thought that I'd run you off somehow."
"Audj, I'd never think you'd run anyone off, ever. I know your personality, you could never do that." Mike said quietly, walking up to the two girls. He looked Audrey in the eyes, "I should've told you who she was, before I brought you to the table." he said, "That was my own mistake, I mean, if you brought me to the Gryffindor Table, not saying a word, to meet a guy friend of yours, I admit, I'd be jealous, I suppose." he said, looking at the ground, as the speech came to his mind. He wasn't suggesting that Audrey was jealous, maybe she was, but he didn't know that. "Look, if anyone should be sorry, it's me. I made the whole situation at one point awkward for both of you," he said looking from Audrey to Julia. This wasn't really like him, he was usually tough and never exactly apologized for different things and he must be looking truthfully stupid right about now but he knew he had to apologize to the two girls that meant a lot to him, his girlfriend and a new friend.

Suddenly, Julia found herself in the entrance hall. How did that happen? did she teleport there with out even knowing. Freaky. And in another instant Audrey appeared and proceeded in apologizing frantically. What a whirlwind. She didn't feel particularly wronged, but it was still nice that she said it. "I know how you feeel... actually I don't, but I can sorta imagine," she said lamely. At the time it seemed like a deep meaningful thing to say, like those sappy disney movies where the girl is unpopular and she is always so sad, but then a new girl comes and is all like, 'I know how you feel, lets be friends,' if only life worked like that. Julia would probably have more friends. "You don't really need to apologize to me, I am not angry. That was just a little awkward." She smiled reassuringly at Audrey. She felt a little.... guilty... ugh barf. Emotions are so overated.
Then BAM!! Mike appeared out of nowhere. "Creeper!" she shouted involuntarily before she knew it was Mike and not some random guy. "Sorry..." she said blushing. Then she decided to shut her mouth and sorta fade into the background. She watched quietly as the plot unfolded. Let's summarizzle. Mike know Audrey so well, he'd be jealous too, and he is soo sorry for making it awkward, with a capital AWK. So AWKward. Yeah that worked. "It's all good," she said with a smile.

"I know how you feeel... actually I don't, but I can sorta imagine," she said lamely.
Audrey laughed and ran her hands through her hair. "This is really stupid." The old Audrey was coming back now, and she couldn't really believe everything that had just happened. "I..." she started, but then Julia yelled 'Creeper' and she turned around to see Mike standing there, listening.
"Audj, I'd never think you'd run anyone off, ever. I know your personality, you could never do that." Mike said quietly, walking up to the two girls. He looked Audrey in the eyes, "I should've told you who she was, before I brought you to the table." he said
Really? The redhead thought to herself. More than a little irritated with the whole situation, Audrey felt her face turning odd shades of pink and red. "What were you going to tell me, Mike? 'Oh, by the way, I want you to meet this girl that I've developed a strange closeness with over the past few days?' Yeah, I can just see how that would've turned out." Audrey paused to take a breath. "I'm not stupid, Mike. Something happened between you two to create this bond, even if neither of you tell me what. I know there was something. I'm a great people-reader." She shook her long red hair in disbelief. "You may not have acted on it, but it's there. No offense, Julia." Audrey was getting on quite a roll now. "I don't know what it is about you, Mike, but you attract girls to you. It's a good thing you have more of a moral compass than Hunter does or else the entire female population of Hogwarts would be laying in waste after Monsoon Mike took it's toll." The girl's voice was rising in volume a bit. "I don't attract guys the way you draw in girls. Maybe the guys in this school have more morals than the girls..." She took a second to think about that last statement. Hunter and Justin certainly didn't set a good record for the guys, so maybe she was wrong. "On second thought...Hunter is in this school, and he alone can make the rest of the guys' morality go bankrupt, so no. No, it's got to be just you, Mike."
Audrey looked between Julia and Mike and still could not understand her boyfriend's affinity with finding trouble in girls on campus. She blew a puff of air from her lungs and tried to calm down. "Whatever. Have fun for the rest of the feast. I'm going for a walk." With that, she pushed between Mike and Julia and headed for the doors. It was raining and dark outside, but she didn't care. Maybe the cold rain would somehow make her brain function with more clarity.

When Audrey turned to him and began her rant, Mike knew that what had happened was a mistake, he knew for a fact now. As her voice grew louder, he knew people would be listening, but right now he didn't care. All he cared about was getting Audrey to forgive him. As she finished and pushed past him and Julia he watched her walk out. Looking at Julia, "Listen, don't worry about this all, it's my own fault. Just go back and enjoy the feast," he walked in to the Great Hall, ignoring all the stares he received on his walk to the Ravenclaw Table, he picked up his bag pulling out his zip up sweat shirt pulling it on over his shirt and tie, he put his bag over his shoulder and walked out past Julia, out the doors.
Once outside, he looked left and right, not caring about the heavy rain pouring down on him. He saw Audrey walking, he ran a distance to catch up to her, once a few feet behind her, he slowed down, walking. "Audj, can we talk?" he said slowly and quietly, he walked up beside her, not knowing whether she'd just ignore him or something.
