One moment she was drying her hands on the comforter, and the next moment, she found herself taken by the waist with Hunter's soft lips pressed against her own. She was mildly surprised and at first didn't really know how to react, but after a beat she kissed him back hungrily. The motion felt natural and wonderful and caused her heart to flutter and beat wildly in her chest. She closed her eyes and pushed her fingers through his still-wet hair, her mouth smiling against his.
But it was all cut much too short when he suddenly pulled away and left the bed. She sat up, frowning, as she watched him walk towards his trunk. Was this all still part of the cat and mouse game?
"Gotta find that shirt, right?"
Oh, no. No way she was gonna let it get back to this again. Resolutely, Cady slid off the bed and approached him from behind, encircling him with her arms and pressing her cheek against his shoulder blade. She guided him to turn and look at her and smiled prettily up at him. "The shirt can wait, don't you think?"

A million thoughts were racing through Hunter's head as he tried to open his trunk. Then, he felt Cady's arms wrapping around him and her wet hair pressing against his bare back. He turned around and looked down into her beautiful face.
"The shirt can wait, don't you think?"
Guess he hadn't made her uncomfortable at all. Hunter smiled to himself. "I guess it can." After a second or two of awkward hesitation, Hunter decided to throw all common sense and caution to the wind. He leaned in and kissed her. The boy ran his finger through her wet hair, combing it out.
Something inside him was changing. He could feel it happening, and he wasn't sure if he liked it or not. However, Hunter was absolutely sure that he liked Cady, which was odd. Slowly, the boy pulled away from the kiss and moved his lips from her mouth to her ear and down her neck. It was beginning to get a little difficult, considering the height difference, so he picked her up, forcing her to wrap her legs around his waist.

Cady had to stop herself from breathing a sigh of relief as Hunter's mouth met hers once again. For a moment, she'd thought he was going to torture her by giving her a much-too-short kiss and then ending the whole charade. She'd hate to admit it, but if he'd played the game that way, Cady would have been the loser, hands down. Game be damned- she wanted to kiss him, and that was final.
As he moved down her face, Cady closed her eyes and smiled, guiding her hands through his hair and down his neck. Before she knew it, he'd lifted her up to bring her more to his level. She coiled her long legs around him and took the opportunity to kiss his mouth again, using her hands to cup his cheeks and hold his face close to her own.
After an extended period of kissing, Cady broke the contact between their lips and paused to take a few breaths, looking into his eyes as she did so. She felt her heart twitter and before she could even stop herself she began to laugh. This whole thing was just so surreal, and really, she could hardly believe the way she was letting this cocky older guy make her feel like such a stupid, starstruck, happy little girl. Not that she could really help it.
