Carsyn wasn't exactly new to Hogwarts, and yet again she wasn't exactly used to being here either. This grand castle held so much excitement and so many things to be done, and yet the young professor was all cooped up in her office making lesson plans and getting things prepared. That was Carsyn for you. Always ahead of the game and always prepared. And hell, she liked being prepared and organized so much that you could probably get her to prepare lessons for every professor in the school and she wouldn't complain a bit. Well, at least not much.
Carsyn sighed softly as she stood up and stretched her body out, letting her arms reach towards the ceiling, exposing her stomach a tad. She adjusted her tanktop and small jacket back over her torso to overlap her blue jeans a bit, and began to put her things away in her desk. When she had finished, she took her keys and stepped out of the office, locking it behind her as she immersed herself into the History of Magic classroom. A small smile crossed her face as she thought about how soon she would be teaching History of Magic, or any class for that matter, for the first time. She'd of course, hoped for Astronomy, but was glad she was teaching History of Magic because to be blunt about it, she's a lot better a it!
The young girl brushed some of her curly bangs behind her left ear, making her ponytail a little more pronounced as she stepped into the corridor, making her way over to some staircases. She had absolutely no idea where her destination might be, but she was set out to get.. somewhere, and she knew that much for certain. In just a few minutes time, she was on the tower landing and was smiling down at the grounds. There were a few students but not many. She looked at her watch. It was around eleven in the morning, so it was certain that most students were probably still cooped up in bed, enjoying the ending month of their summer break. It would be more enjoyable for most of the professors of course, if they didn't have so much work to do. Carsyn kept herself organized enough that she didn't overload herself with too much work in one day or night and was ahead of herself, so she wouldn't have a ton of work to get done during the term.
She took a seat a little near the edge as she continued to look out. She managed to look down, despite her tiny fear of heights, and wasn't bothered in the least. She had no idea if there was a charm on the landing or not, but she knew there was one on the roof, so why not? Despite the fact that this board's description warns us not to fall off, how was she supposed to know that?
Carsyn looked about her, not quite sure what to do with herself now that she'd finally found her destination.

Mike Blaze sat on the staircase, which led up to higher floors of the castle, right outside the Great Hall. He was gazing into the Great Hall, not many students or teachers in there, none of Mike's friends were anywhere to be seen. Most of the Ravenclaws his year were still in bed when he woke up and left. He stood up and stretched, for his past 6 years at Hogwarts he knew the castle front and back, he had a particular favorite spot at the top of one of the towers where as far he knew, no teachers, and not many students were. He made his way up the staircases, passing the various floors where the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw common rooms were located. He found the floor he was looking for, as he expected no one. But one door was ajar, which made him wonder who could be up here. Maybe no one? It could be just Peeves messing around again. He found the doorway to his favorite tower, he made his way up it and came out into the tower overlooking the grounds. Mike overcame the feeling he was not alone, he turned around and saw one of the teachers sitting on the roof near the tower. "Oh, Professor Brothers, I didn't expect to see anyone up here." he was nervous, he had once overheard Filch saying this tower was off limits, but the Head Master never mentioned this, however, if he was alone, it would be fine, but would Professor Brothers turn him in, tell him to leave the tower, or let him stay?
OOC: Didn't know how to really fit my student character into a plot or whatever with a teacher, but figured I'd try, hope you don't mind?
