The contents of a backpack were strewn across the snow-covered ground, surrounding a sixteen-year-old girl laying flat on her back, looking up at the flat, grey sky. Classes were beyond boring, the best friends had been fairly distant as of late, and the boyfriend had been...well, they'd both been busy. Leaving one Ms. Audrey Hitchcock with an overwhelming amount of free time on her hands and more than enough good-looking males on campus. Nothing had happened, really. Innocent flirting wasn't a crime, right? I bet you're wondering why the contents of this young woman's backpack were laying across the lawns of Hogwarts. Well, she threw them. Just to break the monotony. And now she was laying in the snow, staring at the empty grey skies. Mundane. In one word, that would be how Audrey would describe her life in it's current condition. That needed to change. It was time for some mischeif. Something reckless. Something big. Something soon.

Between being over whelmed by all his classes and being sick didn't have a good impact on Mike. He had the home work and class work situation under control, and he was finally cured of his damn cold, but the lack of sleep still lingered over him. He use to sleep in all the time, due to not getting enough sleep at night, but lately, he hadn't been getting any sleep at all. Never the less, he was aware of his surroundings as he came out of the castle. He took one step on to the snow and stretched out his arms, his eyes falling upon the still frozen lake. When is this snow gonna melt? he asked himself, not that he minded it, but he'd rather have spring come soon.
Letting his eyes wander across the snow from the lake, he spotted the most beautiful girl ever, who just so happened to be his girlfriend. Up until this moment, he hadn't realized how long it'd been since he last saw her, the sickness and stress seemed to speed time up, making a few months seem like a few days almost. Stretching his arms one last time, he proceeded across the snow to where Audrey lay, "Hey you, haven't seen you in a while." he said with a grin, easily letting himself fall back on to the snow beside her, leaning over and kissing her on the cheek, he stayed sitting up with her right next to him now.
