Thomas sat behind his desk, nursing his head between his hands. His nose was an obnoxiously bright red, his eyes were bloodshot, and his hair was thoroughly rumpled. Yep, that's right, folks. The reason he missed last lesson was because he was dreadfully sick. He had suffered from some terrible illness (something the Healers informed him that Muggles called the "flu") and was intensely worried he would never get well again. They had forced some horrible medicine down his throat and sent him on his way, insisting that he would live to see another day. Yeah, right, they had no idea what he was feeling. Ignorant bastards! Good thing he threw up on their shoes before he left.
Once his small class was present, he launched right into his lesson as to get it done. His bed was beckoning to hiiiim ... "Heyyy, kids," he said, his voice slightly nasaly. He dabbed at his nose with a navy handkerchief. "As you can tell, I'm not my most attractive right now, so yeah ... Let's get this thing over with. This lesson we're gonna cover numbers one through five and their meanings. Please turn to page twelve in your textbooks so we can begin." Tom sniffled in an ugly, noisy fashion as he waited for the tiny children to open their books. Only most of them weren't so tiny.
"We're skipping zero for now because it isn't used in either the Agrippan or Chaldean method, but don't worry, we'll get back to it. For now, just read the pages about the numbers one through five. I don't really feel like doing much today, sooo yeah. Sorry if it's lame. This class will get better once I get better." He smiled at them apologetically, sincerely meaning it. Personally, he had hated it when teachers assigned reading, but hopefully they understood. Thomas was just not feeling up to speed at the moment.
[[Yeah, just read about numbers one through five. This lesson sucks but I don't feel like coming up with much right now because I have some other stuff to do. Sorry guys! Just post here then read.]]
