what if the story you were told...
became the opposite?
Imagine a universe where James and Lily Potter are still alive. Where Sirius Black never faced the dementors. Where Peter Pettigrew never turned spy. Where Lucius, Draco, and Narcissa Malfoy are nice. Where Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange never went to Azkaban either. Where Frank and Alice Longbottom were never tortured into insanity. Where Severus Snape is not bitter. Impossible, you say? Not here, it isn't. For this is the world a few teenagers, by the names of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, live in. Well, you might say we've got our facts wrong. But the truth is...we're living in an alternate universe.
The wizarding world is thriving, and Harry Potter has his parents and his godfather with him, writing to him all the time. He has a little sister now. Hermione Granger's muggle parents are interacting more with the Potters and Weasley's to really understand their daughter. Ronald Weasley still lives with insane older brothers, but this time around he has three younger sisters. Neville Longbottom is still afraid of his grandmother, but lives with his parents and has a younger brother. Everyone's lives are different from the story you all heard...because this is the alternate.
There is one flaw in this seemingly perfect world, however. Voldemort was never killed. He never met his match, and is still running amok. His Death Eaters are fewer, though, than in the story you were told. He has only Rabastan Lestrange, Macnair, Evan Rosier, Avery, and a select few others. The Malfoys and the other Lestranges are in the order, fighting against him. Andromeda Black and Ted Tonks, along with their daughter, are helping them. Oh, did we mention Regulus Black is married and they're both in the order? We told you nearly nothing is the same.
So what is this odd world, this so-called alternate universe? a place where the story you've been told...becomes the opposite.
