I saw parts of it on and off. It was good. A lot of teachers had it on in class, and then teachers put two TVs in to our cafeteria with it on. I saw when most of the people were coming out, Michelle Obama, Joe Biden's Wife, Barrack Obama, Bush. I saw Obama taking oath, that was about it. When I got home I saw the ambulance driving away with Ted Kennedy. Hope he's ok. =/

Nope can't say it was on my priority list. >_< Actually I forgot it was today...I was out feeding the cattle and decided to take my son for a horse ride while I was at it.
Glad it went smoothly.
I do have a weird question...
do you tell a President-elect Happy Inauguration Day?
Also when exactly do you start calling them Mr. President? Before or after the ceremony? I know you don't call them Mr. President until Inauguration Day I just didn't know when they started.
Just strange little items I think of at times like these.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I actually got one. Do they always have those bullet proof glass walls up? I know it's for protection, but I didn't know whether they were skeptical with the first African American president being sworn in to office. I saw them showing/talking about the bullet proof windows of the new presidential limo too.

when we watched this show about Air Force One (my hubby is ex-Air Force so we had to watch) they had bullet proof glass in that limo. This was fairly recent tho so I wouldn't know a definite answer to your question, honestly. I would suspect that they have had the glass in the limos for some time (probably since Kennedy I would think). I think maybe the walls are new tho cuz I don't remember seeing those at the last Inauguration. I might have to look that up because that's got me thinking. >_<

That's crazy, Cady. You're lucky. Btw, this question is about the parade afterwards, who was in the parade? I missed it, I really wanted to see it. I was listening to a Radio Station and they mentioned how a lot of bands were there, I don't know if that's true or not? The station was saying how Fred Durst (from Limp Bizkit) was like the only guy not there, haha.

I actually did not see the parade, haha. We were caught in the middle of a huge crowd and people started standing along the parade route before the inauguration ceremony even began, no less finished. We had to be back on the bus by 3:30 and it took us 2 hours to get out of the crowd and to the street our bus was on, so we couldn't get to the parade and didn't even have time to see it. The crowds were redonkulous.
