"Well..." he began, with a mischievous smile, "I was planning on spending a good part of it up at my parent's cabin in the mountains." he said...
What?! Audrey's mind screamed. How could he expect to spend the entire break at a cabin in the boonies? AWAY from her? The girl's mind started thinking of ways to see him, but before she got too far the second part of what he had said started to sink in.
"I'll be all alone, although, I was planning on taking you, which means I won't be totally alone, but we will."
Immediately Audrey's face lit up. "Of course! Oh, wait..." Her usual holiday break included a lot of time in her mom's bakery, helping out with the cooking and packaging. Christmas was definitely her mom's busiest time of year... "I would love to, but my mom's going to need my help at the shop." Audrey made a pouty face, mostly kidding. She loved working at the bakery with her mom. "I'm going to have to stay in Hogsmeade for most of the break. I can probably spend the last week or so with you in the cabin. Maybe more." A whole week with Mike in a cabin alone? This should be interesting. "Maybe you can come and spend a couple of days with me? Meet my parents? Might as well give them plenty of time to get to know their future son-in-law." The girl smiled at that thought. "I'll teach you to cook before you move to the mountains by yourself."
Audrey wasn't sure what her dad would think of her dating again. He was furious when Axel left without a goodbye, leaving Audrey to cope by swimming in the tears. But Mike isn't going to leave. She was already running through different arguments in her head. They had a couple of guest rooms at the house, so it wouldn't be a problem for Mike to sleep over. It was more her mom that Audrey was worried about. She would know immediately that Audrey was in love with Mike. Then the inquisition would start. Audrey shuddered thinking about the awkward questions that her mother was sure to ask her about Mike. Maybe she should tell her mom everything, upfront. Avoid the awkward questioning altogether. ...Maybe...
Realizing that she was daydreaming, Audrey snapped back to reality. "Sorry," she said to Mike. "I was imagining how my parents are going to react to this whole situation." Audrey had only mentioned in passing to her mom that she was even seeing Mike. She didn't say that it was serious, and, as far as she knew, her dad had yet to be informed. This holiday is going to be loads of fun. The situation had her wishing that she had siblings to take the attention off her for once. They'll deal. Audrey told herself. They're going to have to.

"Well I figured it'd be something like that, you spending part of your break in Hogsmeade..." Mike began, knowing the kind of family Audrey came from, "So I already checked with my folks, they're letting me stay in Hogsmeade for a while, then I'm taking you to the mountains, nothing you can say is changing that." Mike finished, smirking. "i was planning on just staying in one of the hotels, but I mean if mom and dad..." he paused at this with a grin, as if saying him and Audrey were already married which he knew she wouldn't say much to it, "would be alright with me staying at your place, then I can do that. Also, maybe we can spend a couple of days at my parent's place. You can meet them and my two sisters. I think you might've met Alison once before. But you haven't seen what a pain Amber can be." Mike said sighing, with a small grin.
Mike's thoughts began thinking about what his parents would think. They knew a lot about Audrey, from everything Mike told them from when they were only friends. Mike knew both of them loved her without even knowing her in person. Mike wasn't positive whether his parents knew that he and Audrey were dating, Alison did, Mike had written her not too long ago, and Alison most likely told Amber. So there was no doubt that both of his sisters told his parents, he didn't exactly mind. As Mr. and Mrs. Blaze would accept Audrey as a third daughter right away.
"Don't worry about it Audj, your parents will love me." Mike said with a reassuring smile, he didn't know this for sure of course, but he couldn't see why they wouldn't like him. "Although, there was one time, a while back, this on girl's parents didn't exactly like me.... let's just say... after a few days with no trace of them, when they returned, they had different thoughts on me." Mike said with a mischievous smirk, looking over at Audrey before she had time to say or even show confusion, he held up a hand, "Kidding." he said quickly. There was one set of parents of a girl Mike had dated for maybe a month, and of course they liked him. So there wouldn't be any problems, hopefully.

"Really?!" Audrey threw her arms around Mike, which was slightly awkward since they were both laying on the bed, but oh well. Basically, she ended up rolling Mike onto his back, with her legs on either side of his waist. "So are you coming home with me? Or are you going to go back to your family first?"
"Don't worry about it Audj, your parents will love me." Mike said with a reassuring smile.
Audrey rolled her eyes at his joke. "I hope they like you. They're going to have to spend a lot of time with you, even if they don't." The girl's mind started wandering to images of she and Mike at his parent's for Christmas. His younger sisters, his parents, Mike, and herself all sitting around laughing. Suddenly, a sneaking sinking feeling crept into the pit of her stomach. "Eric isn't going to be there is he?" Audrey did not want to have to put up with that kid's attitude over the break. He was one of the things she wanted a break from. Pushing the creep from her thoughts, she looked down at Mike. "I'm happy that we're spending the holidays together."

As she threw her arms around him, he was forced on to his back, which he didn't mind. Audrey being the one to do it, was alright. It was it was anyone else, like a guy for example which would be just messed up and odd, he would've probably beat the hell out of the kid. But any second Audrey wasn't near him felt like a moment thrown away. "I'm coming with you, I told my parents that's what I'd most likely be doing, and then go home one or two days before Christmas... if they're lucky." he added with a smirk.
"Don't keep worryin yourself over it, everything will be fine." Mike said grinning, shaking his head. Mike smirked a little, thinking about Eric, "Only for a day probably." Mike said, "But he spends the time with my sisters when he's there. He has learned to leave me alone." he added grinning, remembering the time when Eric had attempted to pick a fight with Mike, leaving Eric... Mike figured he wouldn't exactly think about the ending of that story. Mike had been grounded for about three weeks following that little incident. Though Eric and Mike still fought, verbally and physically, Mike never dared to go as far as he had before. "I am too." Mike said smiling. His mind skipped a few years forward. Him and Audrey in their future home, with two daughters or whatever children they would have. Mike had always wanted a daughter or two.

"I'm coming with you, I told my parents that's what I'd most likely be doing, and then go home one or two days before Christmas... if they're lucky."
In response, Audrey kissed him. Pulling away, she said, "Good. My parents will be more difficult. We should definitely go there first. Plus, I have to help my mom with the bakery." Due to her excitement, Audrey kissed Mike again. On the mouth, down his jawline, on his neck, by his ear. Then Mike continued speaking.
"Don't keep worryin yourself over it, everything will be fine." Mike said grinning, shaking his head.
"Mmmmnot." Audrey said, not taking her lips off his neck. Who was worried? Not her. Not right now, anyway. Give her a couple of days...she'd get there; right about the time they got to her front door, probably.
Mike smirked a little, thinking about Eric, "Only for a day probably." Mike said, "But he spends the time with my sisters when he's there. He has learned to leave me alone." he added grinning
Finally, Audrey gave up the whole kissing game, but didn't move off of Mike. "He's not into incest as well as pedophilia, is he?" she said, completely straight faced. She placed her hands on Mike's chest and rested part of weight there. "That would just be a horrible revelation at Christmas." Audrey let a smile break through her serious facade. "Just kidding." She kissed him once more and then moved back to her side of the bed, snuggling under the blankets and wriggling her way back to Mike. Audrey always had been a cuddler. She didn't see any change in the near future.

Mike kissed her back, "While you help your mom out with the bakery, maybe me and dad could spend some time together. Fathers are usually the easiest to get on my side than the mothers." Mike laughed, he didn't know why, he figured it was his whole hobby of Quidditch. Now that he was Captain on the Ravenclaw Team, Mr. Hitchcock would be easy to talk to, that is if he was as big a fan of Quidditch as Mike and Mr. Blaze were. "Shouldn't be too hard. I think your parents will like me, for one thing I love you more than anything else in the world, they'll be able to see that. And plus I'm just an amazing Quidditch Player and drummer." Mike said laughing. Two of his all time passions, drumming and Quidditch. Mike had played Quidditch since he was about seven, and he had been a drummer since he was at least five. That was another thing Mike was looking forward to going home, getting back to his second most prized possession, Audrey being his first of course, his drum set.
"Alright..." Mike said just smiling, Audrey wasn't the type to worry too much. Although, he knew she'd be worrying a little 'bit when they finally did go to her house for the holidays. Though she shouldn't worry too much, if Audrey had gotten her personality from her mother and father, it'd be easy to get them to like him. As for Audrey coming home with him, he wasn't worried at all, he knew his mom and dad were gonna love her, no doubt.
"if he was, that little bastard would be out of my house in a second. I know I'd be the 'cause of that, and since it would've been because of Eric and my sisters, my dad would too. My dad gets along with my uncle, but when it comes down to Eric, my dad knows how juvenile he can be, so he keeps a close watch on him. If any guys come near my sisters like that, I'll kill them, Eric is no different to me. I still want to kill him..." Mike said smirking, he knew she was kidding, but he never passed up an opportunity to show his deep hatred for his cousin. As she came closer to him under the covers, he put an arm around her. He knew she had been trying to get him to start kissing her, but of course when he got talking, he didn't stop until he got all of his thoughts out, usually. He then kissed her on the lips, letting his hand run through her long red hair.

Audrey laid there patiently, listening to Mike's schpeal about if Eric ever touched his sisters. "Hun...I was kidding. I don't think Eric would ever actually do something like that. Failed attempt at trying to be funny number sixty-nine." She shook her head as he continued to rant about what would happen if Eric did touch them. Audrey decided that she would tune him out and try to go to sleep. It was a lot easier than she had been expecting, finding her eyelids to be extremely heavy.
He then kissed her on the lips, letting his hand run through her long red hair.
His lips felt nice, but she couldn't help but laugh. "Oh...now you want to kiss me. I just tried to get you to do that for like, ten minutes!" Fine.....he wants to play games? Let them begin. Audrey rolled over and, once again, pushed Mike onto his back. She kissed his lips passionately, then moved to his neck. She started making out with him, like she would if they were going to do more. Audrey kept the act going for a good twenty minutes, until, abruptly, she pulled away, rolled over, and said, "Goodnight."

"I know." he said pulling from her lips for a moment, "I just don't get tired of wishing pain upon him." Mike said smirking. Mike laughed at her whole, Failed attempt at trying to be funny number sixty-nine thing. He shook his head, grinning, "Well, you did fail at the joke before, but you made up for it there." he said kissing her.
"Well you know me, I can't help but speak my mind sometime and I go on and on." he said shrugging, putting on an innocent smile, hoping Audrey would forgive him. When she pushed Mike over and began kissing his lips and neck, his eyes widened a bit. She forgave me quicker than I thought... Mike told himself, kissing her back. When she started kissing him like she did every time things were gonna heat up, he gladly kissed her back the same way. Guess things will be getting started, he grinned, and kissed her more. Then, when it seemed like it just started, of course she pulled away, rolling over, wishing him a good night. Mike still layed flat looking up at the ceiling, he began laughing. "I guess I deserved that." he said, smirking. "Well, while you're sleeping, doesn't mean I can't stay awake." he said shrugging, he rolled over next to Audrey, he slipped his hand down tapping her butt one time in a playful way. Then wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck, he knew she wasn't really asleep, but hell it didn't matter either way whether she was or not.

Audrey tried her very hardest not to laugh along with Mike, and succeeded, but just barely. She had to put mind over matter to not react when he slapped her butt. Then his arms were wrapped around her, keeping her warm and making her feel safe. She would have been able to just lay there and go to sleep if he hadn't have kissed her neck, but he DID kiss her neck and that was just the end of it. Audrey rolled over in Mike's arms and twined her own arms under his and around his back. "I love you." Audrey initiated the making out, once again. Hiking her leg above Mike's hip, she managed to push herself up so she was even with his face and also pulled herself as close as possible to Mike.

As she brought her leg over him, one of his hands pulled from around her, he ran the hand up her leg, sliding it slowly, to feel every inch of soft skin of her leg. He brought his leg up just below her underwear, then he brought it back around her, so she was in his arms again. He rubbed the lower part of her back as she kissed him. His thoughts wandered back to the pregnancy scare earlier that evening. He began thinking of when they'd finally have children together. Mike knew he always hoped that he'd have a daughter somebody, what about Audrey? He didn't think he ever asked her before. As he kissed her, he pulled away, "Audj, you know how we talked about having children earlier?" he asked her, and leaned in to kiss her neck, pulling back, he finished what he was going to ask her, "What have you always wanted? A boy or girl?" Mike kissed her neck again, he didn't mind if she had different thoughts than him. He was just curious, Mike almost didn't feel like himself asking this, but he really wanted to know. It was like the curiosity was eating his insides.

Audrey pushed her upper body away from him. "Seriously? You want to have this conversation right now?" She looked him directly in the eye and deduced that, yes, he did really want to have this conversation -- right now. After disentangling herself from Mike, she laid on her back and looked straight at the ceiling for a while, thinking about it. "I want a little boy first. I always have." Audrey looked at Mike, knowing that he wanted a little girl. "Of course, I want a daughter too. I just want her to have an older brother." Audrey smiled at the thought of their little family. "After that, though, I don't care as long as they're healthy. I do know that I want a big family." There. Mike could run away screaming now. Audrey wanted a big family with tons of little kids running all over the place, and when she and Mike were old and gray, they would have a ton of little grandkids running a muck.

As she pushed her body from him and looked him in the eye, he knew it was a stupid thing to ask at this time. But he didn't know why, but he really wanted to know her answer, practically needed to. As she laid back, he watched her. When she mentioned about having a boy first, he nodded. Although it was true, he always wanted a daughter, having a son would be just as great. Mike could teach him so many things, drumming for example, and Quidditch. His son could also continue the family business of being an Auror, third generation Blaze boy as an Auror. "Yeah... I like that. That way when she goes off to Hogwarts, he'll be there to protect her." Mike said, now thinking of his own sisters. "But when she's home, daddy will be there to protect his princess, just like daddy is protecting his queen right now." Mike said laughing with a grin, putting one arm around Audrey. As she made the comment on having a big family, Mike nodded. He didn't mind big families, as he came from one himself. Two younger sisters, and a cousin who he use to consider a brother. So having a bunch of children didn't mind him, besides his kids would have two aunts and two sets of grandparents to spoil them, so it wasn't too much of a strain on Audrey and Mike when it would come to the gifts. He brought his arm from around Audrey, stretching them out again, letting his arm fall around Audrey again. This was the first time he'd ever really thought this much in detail about his future. "Now where were we?" he said smirking, turning to her, kissing her on the lips. Then he moved down to her neck, he moved from her lips to her neck every few minutes, then after about ten minutes, when he hoped she'd be in the mood and knew she'd be wanting to do her own thing, he looked at her, "Actually, I'm pretty tired, I'll see you in the morning..." he kissed her on the cheek, pulled his arms away, and rolled over from her. He closed his eyes for a moment, waiting to see what she'd do next. Pay back was always fun.

Audrey smile. This is more like it. She ran her hands through his hair and kissed him back. It was getting pretty intense when, suddenly, Mike pulled away, claiming that he was tired. "Really, now?" Audrey shook her head. Sure, she had just done it to him, but that's what girls are supposed to do. Besides, it didn't have the same effect on a girl. Girls don't get blue balls. The girl snuggled up to Mike's back, wrapping her arm around him and kissing his shoulder blade. Using her best sexy voice (which just sounded down right silly in her own head), Audrey said, "Are you sure, honey? I mean..." she let her actions speak for themselves after that. Audrey sat up in the bed and pulled the shirt off over her head. She fixed her hair just right, so it would cover the necessaties for the PG-13 rating. Audrey cocked her head to one side, like puppies do, and looked at Mike, smiling mischeiviously. "Still tired?"

Mike felt her arms wrap around him and felt her lips on her shoulder, without opening his eyes he smirked, "Yeah I'm sure..." he felt her move, he opened his eyes turning his head without moving his body to see what she was doing, he watched her pull her shirt off and fix her hair. Mike didn't need any more words or actions to get him up now. As she cocked her head to the side, he grinned. "Tired, who said anything about being tired?" he said shaking his head, "I'm sure it wasn't me." he added with a shrug. His eyes slid down to where where her hair ended which covered her chest. He would've thought nothing else and would've kissed her, but he stood his cautious ground, wondering if this was gonna end in a very dissapointed Mike.

As she cocked her head to the side, he grinned. "Tired, who said anything about being tired?" he said shaking his head, "I'm sure it wasn't me." he added with a shrug. Audrey was slightly disappointed that he didn't kiss her, but that was fine. She'd never been the type of girl afraid of making the first move. Audrey, very sweetly, leaned in and kissed Mike on the lips. Just a peck. And then another. And another, and one on his cheek and one on his nose, and then back to the lips, only not just a peck this time. Audrey slid her hands down to his chest and pushed him back, gently, until he was laying back down. She leaned down, placing her lips just above the boy's chest, then looked up through the curtain of read hair and smiled. She kissed a trail from the middle of his chest down the the waistband of the jeans that he was still wearing. "Well, these don't look like they would be very comfortable." Audrey said, winking. Immediately, she put her fingers to work, doing the belt, pulling it off, then undoing the button and zipper of the jeans. The girl continued her trail of kisses sporadically down Mike's legs as she carefully removed his pants, making sure that the boxers underneath stayed put. Throwing the jeans to the floor beside his other clothes, Audrey ran her hands back up his chest, this time under his shirt, pulling it over his head when she got to his shoulders, kissing various patches of skin all the while. The smile that flourished on Audrey's face as she straddled Mike's hips and looked at his face was purely wicked. The kiss that followed was unadulterated heat and passion. The feeling was true, even if her intentions weren't.
