”I guess I just haven’t met any of those girls that want to throw themselves at me perhaps il meet some sooner or later. I don’t think I have high standards but that’s my opinion so it doesn’t mean im right”
She shrugged. "Well, I don't know. Maybe it's just one of those things we have to wait and see about. She had to admit, the popularity thing probably had something to do with the reason she and George were still single. Not that Moki needed a man by her side, day and night, night and day and so on and so forth, but there were just those people that seemed to attract guys - and in George's case, girls. Like Mike and Audrey. They seemed really popular. Of course, they were dating each other, so maybe it wasn't the best example, but still.
”Thanks. Ive got quite a few years yet to find a great girl but im sure that she will be worth the wait”
"I'm sure she will be," Moki said with a smile. "As for me, if I happen to randomly bump into somebody who sweeps me off my feet, well, I won't object. Although that really sounds cheesy when I put it like that." Gosh, imagine that. The traditional fairy-tale ending was silly-sounding.
”Being a guy I do have to agree with you there, I know quite a few of that are indeed into the thrill of the chase”
She nodded. "Yeah. What I don't get is how girls keep falling for it! I mean, take my friend Cady. There's this guy Hunter that she's kind of having a thing with, but I swear, George, the guy's been with practically every girl in the castle. How can she expect a relationship with somebody like that? I get that she likes him and whatnot but... I don't know. I just don't get it myself. Hey, if she's happy, good for her, but..." she trailed off.
”I’m sure you will find that someone special if not then there is probably some crazy and blind guys out there that have over looked you”
She giggled. "Hey, you know what they say, though, that you don't find anything until you stop looking for it. I should probably just let life take me where it will. But that's a little too boring for me, really. I prefer to take charge!" This was probably not a good thing at all. But it was fun. So who was she to complain? She was really enjoying talking to George. He was a nice guy and knew how to have an interesting conversation, that was for sure. She knew that she was really going to like spending time with him in the future. He was in one of her classes, she knew, so that would be a lot of fun probably.
”A bit of both really just whatever comes along though spending time with other people would be my proffered choice”
"Yeah, same here. Although I never object to making my own good time. And if you ever want anyone to just chill with, hey, just give me a call or whatever. It'd be great!"
She shrugged. "Well, I don't know. Maybe it's just one of those things we have to wait and see about.
